Going in long an hour away from the unemployment data & with so much selling pressure is gambling. And yes you are panicking, else you could always wait for a better confirmation to go long later. This thing right now could thrust deep into the lows of 6100 as it could spike upwards towards 6470 level. You might get lucky and get away with it but I guarantee you won't the next time around.

Anyway, I think the US economy is still in the doldrums. I just think that the govt numbers are cooked..

Okay. The H4 which closed after the last bullish attempt at the 6540 utl level was a dark cloud cover. This a top reversal formation. This was the warning of the drop. If you have sold upon the confirmation of a bearish signal following a rejection at a significant resistance level is textbook trading. It's nothing out of the ordinary.
