I am out at break even on my position @1.6357....saw over 2400 loss in last 30 mins....break even I guess is better than nothing.....

Good Day..Will Live to fight another day...

Just finished watching Transformer 2, Rise of the fallen USD. What a movie! Take a break guys. Forex is there, 24 hours a day, 5 day aweek.

I really like this thread so I signed up to FF.

The GU is really nutty right now. I had this amazing formation on my 1M at 14:45 EST where all the indicator lines on my chart converged to a single point and stopped dead.

When she gets this way, I just watch the 1M. There are some nice small trades to be had, but I can't see holding a position over 5-10 minutes right now.

is kind of fun, but I'm starting to get dizzy! looks like another convergence point at 15:39 EST, heading back down...

I never get the lower highs and lows or vise versa from a 1m chart

Looking at the 5 min charts, I see a lot of spikes at 1.6355-65 area. Seems like there is no lack of supply there. Could be distribution to the retail traders by smart money as they dump their positions there..

I only use 1m charts if i'm in front of the computer to do precision entry and also during tight or range bound market -- i.e. before news. Just to watch pure PA (no indicators) and get a sense of momentum (or lack of it)...

Good observation. A drop to 1.63000 area looks unavoidable, but it could rally from there (TL and 38-50% fib zone)... technically speaking

same here. I usually trade off the 1H and 4H, but since we've been stuck in this box range since May 29th, I've been stuck in front of the computer a lot more lately, so started locking in on shorter rallies until the market finds direction again.
