USDCAD had a nice bounce off the 1.08 level. It's too bad it occurred while I was sleeping@! Will check the daily close on that one to determine if I take a position now, same with G/U.
Could break on the next test if there is one but anyone in their right fibonacci minds should expect a pullback from the 38.2 level. Await candle confirmation and we're off on some retracement.

Hi Jack, I think we are in the minority in thinking that there will be a retracement. I've been shorting at tops all morning and keep getting stopped out at BE or small profits. It's now trying to push through 1.6480.

Technicals are telling me a reversal is due but the trend is not.......Perhaps we haven't hit top as yet. So in the meantime, I'll keep my risk very very low

I havent been firing off shorts yet. But a longer term 38.2 should be respected so who knows maybe this week we could see a retracement? I stated the 6470 level since it is todays daily M5 pivot point and this week's weekly R2 pivot, plus the 38.2 level and an old gap that I wrote about in a previous post .. this gap is on metatrader weekly chart on october 21, 2003 .. along time ago but it lined up nicely with the 38.2

Trend is strong up and there is no confirmation of the downturn .. We will need a 1-2-3 pattern and then see the number 2 point breakdown

Cycle gurus are aiming for within a week to 10 days. Also, according to oanda, asset managers have been buying up USD. We'll see.

Let's assume some things ..

1.) A top is soon to be in place for this rally.
2.) The market will pullback.
3.) A bottom has no formed in 1.36xx.

Then...

One of these may be forming, it's called a cup and handle reversal pattern. May offer a nice longer term buying opportunity, and in an ideal world near 5350, the 23.6% level. Imagine that eh!

I am assuming and predicting, please please don't make a trade solely on this observation Just keep this in mind.
