now i used tight sl and tight profit...but if it move to my direction i move sl to BE...(often hit BE than my TP lol....but thats ok)

yeah GB is too bold....indicators wont work well

price oscillator working very well with 14,3,3 stoch on H1

price oscillator is sky high at the mo and until it shows divergence (with stoch up top), my advice is stay long

For those who haven't had a chance to catch the news...

(From Reuters website) - Sterling retained a broadly bullish tone on Wednesday as the pound breached the key $1.60 level against the dollar, a near seven-month high. Receding pessimism about the UK economy and financial sector buoyed the pound, as well as rising equities and higher oil prices, prompting investors to shed the dollar and yen for perceived riskier assets.

"The market is taking a more optimistic view of the UK economy and although I think it is too early to say the economy has bottomed out, it is hard to ignore the change in sterling sentiment," said Paul Robson, senior currency strategist at RBS Global Banking.

"Sterling's attraction is stemming from the view that at current levels it is still cheap," said Jane Foley, research director at forex.com.
"Sterling was benefiting from the UK economy having put much of the bad news behind it. The pound carries a lot of bad news in its price, suggesting limited scope for further negative shocks. Arguably, both the dollar and the euro face greater degrees of uncertainty."

Looks like GU is heading further north!

More news re:USD ...

Speculative bets against the dollar have risen to their highest level since the onset of the financial crisis.

This net short position was the highest level since the week of July 15, when the dollar hit a record low of $1.6038 against the euro.

Analysts said the fact that net long positions in the Australian dollar also hit their highest level since July reflected the extent of deepening anti-US dollar sentiment among the speculative community.

Thats what SL's are for

I suppose it depends what tf you trade.

I prefer to take a regular 60-100 pips out rather then letting the trade run.
I may not make as much as possibly letting the trade run, but at least its money in the bank!

i am shorting since 1.48 hoping that comes back, adding more at 1.55 ,1.56, finally got fuxxxxxd up , today i took big risk at 1.6080 closed at 1.6010 recovered 85 of loses ,my experience never go against trend ,have a sl , thankyou all
