I hope so to! If you are short though, don't keep it if we break much higher.

Here is yet another chart of where I would like to go long (blue box). I will take a conservative entry here so dont just long on a touch of the blue area!

Let's see how she plays out. If the break out of the red channel is true, all we need is a re-test of it (near the blue area) and we're off higher in my opinion!

Yikes! Out for BE on that one. Too tricky right now to determine direction. Side lines it is.

i am finding scalping using SAR on the 1 minute chart quite useful - quite a few pips today on GBPUSD - anyone doing similar??

I am also looking to short very soon...........actually did you see how .......big traders devised the current short squeeze ........yesterday everybody was talking about ,in U.K stimulus much higher in percentage compared to US TARP and all the data show GBP to depreciate , you never know what will happen...............I lost a lot on GBP/GBY long yesterday now ,now Yen is depreciating in light of recent negative economic data........ only big guys can see where the stops are and then they will short this big time.......
IMHO GBP has to be below 1.40 maybe carry trade keeping this aflot....... better trade what you see rather than gussing I guess.............Good luck to all of you

Hi I'm just a lurker - but thought this might be of interest, don't know much about it, but its the options expiry day tomorrow, and last day today (last Thurs of month) so they try and push price to the level which is at 4700 other at 4760(from Oanda news) Just as so many folk seem to be going short, might be why its bullish

Also does anyone think the move this week might be a retrace from the last swing, as it bounced at 50% fib...I'm just sick of trying to go short only for it to bounce so am on sidelines at mo.

Take another look at what happened on Tuesday, b4 release of UK data. Pump 'n dump again...?

I do. The bullish harami was the first sign that the retracement coming to an end. One just needed to be patient & wait for the bulls to build strength & trade the direction instead of guessing & making silly trades of going against the momentum. ( this isn't directed towards you & guys who scalp btw). Should price close above 4700, bears will be crushed.
