It's possible. But the market doesn't trade the hike. Trades what it think it's gonna happen. We have to go on checking price action to figure out whether or not the market will price in a hike in May.

Hike or not. Price will fall afterwards. Stronger on no-hike. BUt if Cable fails at 9820 again, we may have seen the top for a good while.

Totally agree. From daily charts, it got 3 lower high (no spike). Till now, the price is weak with thin trading.

2nd London hour may throw us a bone. But I suspect of choppy market this Monday on the poor data slate...

GJ is likely to move better (backed on UJ above 119).

The 20EMA has crossed the 34EMA on 4 hr chart. How many feel we are in a down trend now and where do you see the bottom?

this can be trend reversal and i think first target will be 9583.if it breaks it will try to go 9510

BTW, I can't DISAGREE with this move you state. However, I don't see that coming either... 9550 is an awesome price to buy and I WANT IT. Just want to know what you're based on as to start making my mind.

I think it could maybe pull back to 1.9700ish IF UK retail sales tomorrow are really high... but overall it's a down trend for me... though we couldn't really speak of a trend change until it breaks ascending channel from march 13 2006, which is presently at 1.9383 but in around two weeks will be at 1.9473... this corrective sub-wave "a" could extend to 1.9560-50ish and bounce off the 50EMA in daily charts.

Hope you're right. I'm a buyer at your 9550. Just wanted to understand what you're based on.

As I stated here so many times - and I promisse this is the last one - I just don't believe that techis move the market....

OK we will see... I agree with what you say EXCEPT... when price is already heading for the ema... it is VERY likely to get there no matter what the news... the news just sends it on its way faster !!!

62 is like a magnet right now !! Gonna get there !! Maybe a bit further...

I get out of the short trade when slow stoch goes oversold and starts to roll over...

This is a classic set up right now !!
