Could not think of a better way to turn one.

Without a doubt, FTI. He was the only one who made sense.

I have been reading FF for some 3 years. And when I read a thread I want to determine if the poster is making money. The most important thing to me is : if the trader who started a thread or participated in it is someone who consistently makes money possibly over the long term. Then when I find such a person I read every post of that trader trying to decifer her/his method.

Here is my list (alphabetical order):

1. Billy Ray Valentine
2. Daytrading
3. Feb2865
4. H.Rearden
5. Jaco
6. James16
7. Peter Crowns
8. Smooth Trader
9. TheRealThing

These guys are selected by me as profitable traders and their threads/posts are worth reading IMO. But I am sure there are more profitable traders on FF that I don't know yet.
Unfortunately there are many traders with 10V that are losers .

Regards

Yeti

I've been on the thread for quite sometime and started my own journal (link is in my signature). These guys i've found to be the most helpful over years of developing as a trader.

So in no particular order at all:

  1. Bones
  2. Eohater
  3. Infinity
  4. Jacko
  5. Merlin
  6. Diallist
  7. James16
  8. Allserene
  9. Darkstar
  10. PeterFM

Cheers guys ,

Steviet should be on the list.
He diligently kept his thread going for over 2 years, from the earliest days of when he was attempting to figure this Forex thing out & apply to successful trading.

He's shared the good & the bad. Always candid. Always polite and friendly. Always patient.

His journey which he kindly shared for better or worse, turned out for the better, exemplifies everyone's journey to a certain extent. The joy, the tears, the frustration..."the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat"...and the growing confidence which comes from both.

Through it all, Steve's portrayed himself as the class act that he is.
I've enjoyed tagging along on Steve's adventure, so have many others.
I hope he keeps things going, even so the arduous task that it is.

I'd be hard pushed to find anyone on this forum who's put as much effort into delivering something that:
a) Everyone can use
b) Is genuinely useful in trading
c) Must have taken an eternity to complete.

...as Hanover's news plugin for Metatrader. Only just found it, buried away in the programming section.

for that.

And for trading insight... Darkstar, Gaston, Jacko and BRV.

IMHO, it is BillyRayValentine (No Brainer Trades - http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=86429) the ForexFactory Hall of Fame. No doubt about that.

Anyone happens to go through his thread, will undoubtedly vote for him.

My vote for BRV.

cheers,

Excellent choice and include Jacko & James16

What do they all have in common apart from being successful traders?

Take a look at any charts they post and you will see that they are clean & uncluttered without a myriad of indicators.
