Who deserves to be elected to the Forex Factory Hall Of Fame? I decided to start a thread where people can list members (currently active or inactive) that they think deserve to be in it.

What qualities or contributions should you look for? They could be outstanding traders, influential teachers, people who make high quality posts or threads. They could even be FF admins that have helped make Forex Factory successful. But ultimately it's up to you to decide. Give it some thought and cast your "votes".

To start things off I’d like to cast 5 votes. The first three seem like obvious choices. The last 2 have influenced my trading the most, and have led excellent FF threads.

This is a great thread and hopefully will alert people to one of the best resources on FF; which is clicking a member's profile and reading their entire post history one by one. There are guys I would happily do this with, again and again.

James16: In my opinion the best way to trade on this forum. Read his chart thread and pay particular attention to the posts by mbqb11 (just reading his posts will give you a real handle on the method), clockwork71, raczekfx and various others who dip in and out during the thread. I'm a member of his private forum and it's the best money i ever spent learning.

The great Merlin of course.

Darkstar. His post history will change the way you think about the market.

Auslanco. He bequeathed some amazing stuff to the forum especially the QQE and Gann combo. For the best practitioner of his method, try karmostaji. And Pips_Cruiser 's history is littered with helpful answers to beginners' questions about the QQE and Gann

For a great example of an honest journey through learning forex, warts and all, read StevieT's journal. Don't focus on the method because he changed it a lot. Focus on the journey in general. He posts the ups and downs.

And don't be afraid to contact other members and ask what's helped them. Most members will be happy to point that out, but the work is ultimately up to you.

From those of us climbing the mountain, to those of you just starting, good luck! This can change your life if you approach it correctly.

Jay Walker.

There are so many great contributors on this site.

I'm with Jay... I've learned so much from this site... from experts to novices it would be a lot easier to just nomiate the factory to Yoda status.

This could be part of the "magna carta of forex trading". I'm pretty sure this thread will go a loooooooooong way as it has contained (already!) & definitely will contain lots of gems (in the form of insights & traders themselves) ,for newbies & oldies alike, to indulge in.

Excellent thread, Pips_Cruiser. I have been thinking about opening/seeing someone open this thread & u did it. Very glad to see this & thus i'm subscribing to it.

Bravo

still not much response to this awesome, new thread?
I've been "fairly" patient, so please don't tell me that i did not restrain myself from posting my (partial) list ahead of many others...

I think there is a bunch of good/excellent traders in here, mostly well-deserving to be enlisted here. This is a "partial" list, since some traders have already been mentioned (i'd like to avoid redundancy* so as to preserve brevity of this thread), while i definitely expect other traders ( w/c i admire/respect) to be listed here sooner rather than later. I still want other traders to share & broadcast their well-deserved praises.

in no particular order... here is my partial list of traders who have helped me in 1 way or the other:
jarroo
karmostaji
malcolmb14
Piters
quecee5
OrionsWay
aediaz1
belekas
forexmoments
Antra
diallist
opie999
forexlion
cobraforex
TheRealThing
smjones
Bobokus
Pips_Cruiser (isn't he the thread master? )

* --- exception to the rule List (please indulge me), again in no particular order:
merlin
james16
PeterCrowns
jacko
Igrok
fti
auslanco
mbqb11
raczekfx
clockwork71
Strat
cobraforex
Darkstar
BillyRayValentine

I believe all these traders fit in, 1 way or another, the qualities & contributions factor/requirement mentioned by Pips_Cruise in his first post.

You know, when one takes a moment to think about it, there are so so many valuable contributors to this site. And then, you can't forget the rest as well, those who are learning from those who are more experienced and who are so kind and generous to share. Those who are learning from those who share ask the "dumb" questions, which spur the patient responses over & over again. And the dialog continues & grows & others benefit. This thing is just incredible.

This is THE example of a free sharing of information for the benefit of the community as a whole.

I'm not sure who the moderators are, nor who are the founders of the FF site, only Merlin comes to mind...and I know that there are others. But those folks created the site, keep it up & maintain the first class quality that it still has after these few years that it's been up & running & an important part of our lives. The real "HATS OFF" should go to those folks.

On that note, here's a few more folks who have affected my Forex education:

Fozzy
Beachbum
Teb63
Lever70
HaroldFX

These are my favorites. I include James16 as well, but with the disclaimer that I am a Senior Member.....in the interest of being impartial I don't include any of the J16 traders......
