Licking my wounds. Got stopped out last night at 1.3213. Will be re-entering longs starting either above 1.3300 or below 1.3000, whichever direction it goes.

Meanwhile sitting back, relaxing and nursing semi.

I completed my buying just before 1.3213. But situation looked too bad, so I saved 13 pips - closed at 1.3213 than 1.3200. (Big saving). Tried to scalp with a smaller account, but no luck there. I am not a scalper and will never be. I am not interested in a percent or two any more. I am tired of this now. Trying to enter medium term arena. That really requires some rounded steel organs, at least until one gets used to it.

i was long with you and ja the other night. i got stopped out and hit sl...i went short after and have shorted the retraces..that long was my last loss..until something changes im shorting those s/r pionts or fibs..and bringing sl just to the other side of s/r + 10...for cushion.. i try to put sl at be + 1/3 when able... and exi 1/2 just before s/r and renter 1/2 after a pull back..

Although Scalping is hard work and the gains look small, it's way way way way safer than medium or long term trades.

The longer the time in a trade the more the trade is a gamble.

Although my Entrys are Scalp based ( hence no losers ), my exits should be scale outtable to bigger targets but struggling on the later part, due to the 15pip game is some what annoying to.

Still Ill, although getting better but have the concentration of something that died already which is not helping.

Gator, I figured it out from your yesterday's post and was tempted to follow you. But as mentioned earlier, I am now trying to find a bigger vessel. I still have 60% profit left from my last month's trades in my other accounts to experiment. I use my account that has the least balance, bring it to some level, and go back to check which has least balance try to bring it up, so on and so forth. But rarely touch my main account which so far shows a success ratio of 90%. All other accounts are for foreplay. The one which I am using on this move is also a foreplay account. Psychological capital is the most important investment I have and cannot afford to lose it at any cost or for any temptation. Let's see how this experiment goes. I did not enter in this market to make pennies, but also not to lose my hard earned capital.

Stumbled across the tail end of an interview earlier today with some guy last name of Ramo... his book was titled" ....(something)... age of the unthinkable" or close. I need to google the thing to get the rest of it, the 2 minutes i heard this guy talk... well i'm buying the book, and I never buy new hardbound books like this. Never.

Comparing EUR-USD, GBP-USD, and USD-CHF DAILY Charts, we see that on EUR-USD we have a doji (indecision) candle supported by 100 EMA. On USD-CHF we have a "shooting star" and 100 EMA comes in as resistance. While on GBP-USD we have a "hammer".

IMO a reversal is likely and we can see EUR-USD and GBP-USD bounce up while USD-CHF could see a fall in price.

NOTE: We have a large number of reports coming out today. Asian, European and NY sessions, which will cause the market to gyrate throughout the day.

You are tempting me. I agree with you. The best scalp I ever did was during December 08 holidays. That was on a demo account and it grew (please beleive me) more than 300% in two weeks, collecting pennies. But it was exhausting. Maybe I should keep on practicing.

Chicky, I've been creeping my account up nicely with Scalps then switching to a longer term plan and blowing my account in NO TIME!!

Work out what your good at and stick to it.

If you want longer term investing I'd go back to stocks I did very well on that back when I had money to trade, pick a bullish / bearish sector ( well 1 of each ), pick bullish and bearish stocks accordingly, spread your money out thin, on bearish days your bull stocks give a little back and your bearish ones make good $$'s and vice versa, Forex is far far too random to do this with to my likings.

A lot of brokers ( maybe just spread betting places ) let you trade Spots is it, same was a Forex but based on the stocks value I believe.

Just got to get GOOD like seriously good at Scalping then keep increasing your lot sizes.

IF you can safely Scalp I dunno 2 trades per day for 20pips, thats 200pips per week if you can keep your risk and exit incase of a loss real small then with a relatively small account you could trade $10 per pip say, thats $2000 per week do me nicely.

I plan to trade $10 on a 7K account I think it is, so if you've got 20K say then $30 per pip and $6000 per week for just a hour or 2 per day, is that still pennies to you ??

Think SMALL PIP PROFITS, think Numerous times, think consistent then think BIG LOTS!!
