Been following this system for the last few days and i absolutely love it. I used to do much the same method but using the ADX for my entries, never really thought about the stoch, works so much better i feel!! Great trade today on cable!! Great system TEB63

yes I use to try to use the ADX but its just to slow
& way to slow to reload!!

yeah i am using it pretty much as TEB introduced in the first post, just wait for everything to line up on the 3 time frames and go for it. I have added Fibs etc for better entries and exits, just a case of whatever suits you best.

Cable having a v hard time getting through this 38.2 Fib at around 1.9715, if it breaks that then could see it down more!!

When do you guys enter a position in relation to the stochastic crossing- after close of the 30 min bar or during the stochastic crossing? Or maybe even XX amount of miunutes before close of the 30 minute bar? Just wonderin'.. Great thread by the way

Probably the best way for a group of traders to join forces in a chatroom is to utilize either "skype" or "yahoo messenger."

Both are free downloads, and allow for either standard typing messages and, or also, for voice (provided you have a headset and microphone, which are quite cheap to buy).

Exchange your user-names and log on each day to invite your group members to join that day's chat.

What am i trying to say... I'm trying to say that it's normal to use the past to predict the future, this is what the stats is all about, this is the whole point of technical analysis.
Therefore, by critisizing this system, you frist of all, are critisizing your efforts.
Anyways, sorry If i sounded mean, i am only trying to present a counterargument to what you're saying. By the way, how are you going to implement a market psychology into your mathematical tools, any insite on that? Thnx

Thank you TEB for sharing your method, i'm sure its simplisity has has helped a lot of guys here to see the importance of having several tf's in sync before taking a trade.

I've also noticed that some of the guys are not sure how the 50ema is used, what is "way above/below" the 50ema, how large a pip distance? Just an idea here: try adding 50CCI and add 200/-200 and 0 levels to it, and see how it works relative to the 50ema and price distance. cci is looking at the separation from the 50ema (or separation from the zero line), so if you have the cci above 200 line for instance, you know that it's in overbought and about to start turning. However, on its own, cci is useles, but I looked how it works in combination with all the stochs, it does a bit better job of describing the picture with regards price/50ema separation.
Also some good moves are missed when waiting for the price to be on the wrong side of the ema, sometimes it will not go into the wrong side but just bounce off it, so look at where the cci line is at the moment: i've found out, that once it's crossed the zero line, in 90% of the cases it'll keep going to the extreme level (the 200 level), and once it's crossed back from the extreme level, it'll come back to the zero line.
For cable i would suggest to use 250 levels, for euro 200 is enough imho.
If you don't find it helpful, then disregard this idea, 50ema will still do the trick, just need more eye training.

My understanding is that this service has a week's free trial only, and then a monthly charge must be paid. The monthly subscription isn't a large amount, however, and it does seem to offer quite a few amenities so perhaps you might want to go this route after all.

No, it's completely free, our group's been using their chat room for over a year.

There is nothing that beats IRC for chat purposes.
