AUDUSD still strong and firm, supported by another rally in equities

at this point, I am actually not sure it may last, so I prefere to stay outside and see

currently at 0,7080 and could break 0,71

next significative resistance at 0,7250 - 70 that it may even be reached this week
looking for a short entry point in that case, I would not touch the long side now....

Went short @ 0.7086. Not really looking for a major move down, but anything is possible after a day like this... AU looks way too rich at the moment.

I also tried a short at 0,7084

stop above 0,71

my target price is at 0,69 - 0,695

short term is bullish, long term still very bearish indeed

I suspect markets will rest one or two days before rallying again for a few sessions, that would be a good point to go short just like two weeks ago it was perfect timing to put oneself long

I prefered to close my shorts at 0,6979 and reverse to long position

tp 0,725 - 0,7270

it stills seems that the buy on dip is on on this pair....let's wait and see, nice short trade from 0,7084 anyway

This particular COT index is based on commercial traders as opposed to the speculators and provides an interesting view of the Aussie Dollar. If you visit the site you will see from the chart that the AUD remains at an extreme, a position we have seen for the last few weeks suggesting that the Australian Dollar is about to strengthen in the market in the short to medium term and we should see the AUD/USD amongst others, breakout and move higher. From a technical point of view the spot market is indicating the same move following a period of consolidation.

i am confident it will hit
but there is no certainty in the forex markets.

Expecting a bearish asian and european session for this market.

I am still long bias, due to 50 and 100 Hour SMA's hovering near .6990 to .7000 psychological support and a potential top side break out of a triangle on the one hour charts (Sorry I would post the chart, but I am unsure how to with an apple computer). If there is a solid break down, I will short at .6950

market stable so far, still monitoring the short term trading range 0,69 - 0,7085

favour remains for the upside, as I still notice interest to buy on dips
Probably will see more price action in the late Japanese session and during European session

I just closed my position with 85 pips profit don't want to wait till 120pips on Friday. have a nice weekend everyone.
