Honestly I think that chinese anticipate recovery talk is just political propaganda.
It's though clear that Australia, for some reasons that I ignore, is poised in an at least slightly better situation than Europe, Usa, Japan and even China. (recent data and interest rates do proove that, even if I believe there might be space for one or two small cuts this year down to 3% while ECB, FED, BOJ and BOE might have finished cutting).
Aud seems too beaten to go down again, and the situation still too uncertain to make it go up.
Today US seems to evetually start weakening, I am looking for a shot in the 0,65 - 0,66 area to take profit of my long then see what happens.
Today and next week I see a huge bounce in equities, that should help indeed

Sorry i miss understood and now i have gone back and read that post i think you have hit the nail on the head with your comments on China and Gold and the other thing was the Reserve Bank not dropping rates this month would of helped as well.Ignored
