My first post folks,

This thread is strong enough to bounce back from this negative move. I have been watching carefully over the past few months and I must say that I can sense the foulness in the air just at this moment.

I admire the support and I enjoy the atmosphere of Cable Update (GBPUSD).

Looking forward to the correction.

People who instruct others with opinions will find themselves not welcome. This place is about helping others to succeed.

I will continue to learn and offer help anytime I can. Though I will have many many questions first. (And a few really dumb ones as well) so be prepared.

Yeah Ive had enough of this thread now!. Cable thread was the reason i joined Forex factory and it used to be full to the brim of helpfull traders and I learnt tons from this thread alone. But if I saw this now I wouldnt even sign up!

I agree, i'm beginning to lose my rag with this thread now; which is why i don't come on here and post very much. I spend most of my time over on my own thread now.

Patience, I guess.... this is the first day in the last month I've noticed such bickering nonsense.

What are your thoughts about the multiple testing of the 4515 level in the last few hours? I've noticed how the pair (volatile as it is) tends to reverse dominant short term trend once or twice in a 24 hr period. since it was mostly down for most of US session (disregarding the pop), does anything else support it's gradually inching back up? I'd like to be short for a tp about 80 pips from here, but I'm not sure what to expect with all the press about china & IMF being frustrated over regional currency issue.

Apparently, though our treasury auction today was stronger than that of the UK, there was not as much demand as had been desired. Bid to cover involved 2$ for each 1$ offered. And the UK auction for its bonds was not even 1$ for each 1$. Not sure how this will affect the pair short term.

Thoughts?

I waste my time coming in here to get a different outlook on the market.

HI Smartalicus. In all honesty Im not sure of long term direction so as a result I have been scalping this today, we looked to have formed a short term base at the 4515 level and as such I took a long at 4530. At the time the dow posted a bullish pin on the 15min and EU looked in a fairly strong position. EG also had a Large bearish pin on the 1hr, these points support my long position. I will def take a lot off this position if we get to 4600 as we could reverse down from there.

That trendling doesnt look too clean to me. I have one that is already broken and about to be re-tested. I still see 4390 area coming into play.

If you look at my post on delta and if it is correct then 4390 will be a bottom, I dont see it breaking before a nice rally north, cable is headed north along with GJ.

and given all the BS as you guys call it, there was some darn fine posts in here today....you see BS everyday but choose to ignore it for the most part.

part of trading is understanding MM rules or you will never survive and most of those in here have none, that is quite clear from the posts day to day.

every good thread should cover all aspects of trading, many people new will not ask questions for fear of looking stupid in a public forum. heck all of those that have been doing this for any length of time have had the same questions themselves in the past but tend to forget the simple things you now take for granted.

yes cable is the #1 theme but helping with trading as a whole can also be accomplished here and should be.

You'll have to excuse the mess on my chart but my meta trader has gone crazy and now lost some settings!

but heres a chart anyway and the 4hr looks quite bullish at the moment.

With this in mind I think we could test the highs again later on in the Asian session. I hope i dont get stopped out before it happens though!
