If you register for the events, regardless if you actually attend or not, typically the presenter will send out a follow up email with the recordings for viewing.

Just curious...

Hello Justin,
Probably you missed my question..
I made a search there is no European market opening at that hour... Unless you mean the Famous "Sibex" Siberian Exchange

Justin will you introduce real Volume (not tick volume) in MT4?
Ignored
I dont see why you should not use REAL volume instead of the the tick count in MT4. Is there a reason?

Sorry of this has been covered already, but where do we beta testers send our observations or problems? Who exactly do we contact?

YoseFX-

I think the conversation got a little confused. I was replying to his comment that our downtime had impacted his trading during the European markets. Good luck.

Congrats Justin on the Barrons article! Im curious does MB use the same trading technology for forex as it does for equities? Also does the net cap requirement have anything to do with your equity business?

What about the volume? I mean the volume we see in platforms like MT4 and ninjiatrader, is it the tick volume or just the volume of your clients?

Keep in mind that stop orders are technically market orders.

I wish the TTO order is not a market order in both directions...
it is a "Trigger" order meaning if price trades outside that range it will trigger a market order so whatever the market was printing at that time that's what you'll get filled at.

Either way, I would contact support and see if they can adjust it for you. was there a big spread?

1.5 pips. I was just curious if it was a trigger order or a limit... No big deal. Thanks!

I think you may be confusing depth-of-market a.k.a. lvl2, with volume. Justin probably shouldn't have said "volume" in what you quoted him to say above since that's probably what threw you, but I'm certain he was referring to market depth based on what else was said in the quote.

As for FX volume (not DOM), to my knowledge only HotSpot has provided that to-date. With that said, HotSpot just sold all their retail client accounts to..... to............. FXCM? Say whaaat??? So much for that I imagine. Lol. I suppose you could still make some use of HotSpot's institutional volume, but a full picture would be best.

I think it would be great for MB to provide the true volume that clears the TDFX ECN. Anonymity is still maintained, and I know quite a few folks that would gladly make use of the data, of which I am one.

It seems the story you always get from any ECN when you ask for volume data is an explanation of how it's impossible to measure true spot volume due to the OTC nature of trading spot. Yes thanks, got that part. I want to know what has cleared YOUR ECN, and I'll decide how to apply such data to my trading. That would be great. Maybe someday...

Cheers.

Hi Piphunter, I am sorry but I do not agree with your statement about anonymity. My reason is that you trade on leverage or margin and or both, it is impossible to be anonymous. I say this as the broker supplies the margin and the bank supplies the leverage. So either way everyone who is linked to this transaction will know when you trade and for how much and for how long and your style of trading. The bank that grants you the leverage may also hedge your trade and I think they would have to. Regards, Lava
