I think on this next move up if it is rejected I will have to go all in lort. But you will have to watch it for me. We put our house up for sale last week and have someone that wants to see it later this afternoon. The wife wants to move closer to the city and I like an ocean view. Might be time to trade the wife and keep the house?

Tempting for me to play this channel but I know the moment I do we'll make our big break. So I'm just going to stick to the overall gameplan and wait it out.

I would definitely choose for the ocean view. And don't forget this, with an ocean view, a new wife is very easy to find, in all categories, young, sexy, whatever you want.
And then you can be sitting at the beach with a big umbrella, a margarita and a laptop just pipping your time away, and get rich in the meantime.

technical analysis for this friday

we have been in an ascending channel since last week. it was hard to interpret the channel walls but i think i got it right now (blue trendlines). Currently we are almost at the top of this channel. We are also in a a flag/pennant consolidation period. Therefore I see 2 possibilities.

1)This flag/pennant breaks to the upside with first target around 1.2980 (the upper wall of the current uptrend. What happens there..who knows

2)This flag/pennant breaks to the downside and if 1.2865 (previous high) gets decisively broken we could have a potential head and shoulder on our hands.

The 2 options are in no particular order..depends on how this triangle pennat whatever you wanna call it breaks. Now my long term bias is still very bearish but at the moment i am neutral...letting this pennant/triangle do the talking.

Good pippin all..this friday will be most interesting..im quite curious if the stock market can rally for a 4th day or give it all back in one day. You never know

Downside break on the pennant is too predictable, careful shorts, I would not be surprised to see a fake out and sharp turn north in about an hour.
What's that smell?

agreed which is why 1.2865 is crucial now...will pa bounce or break through it...that will answer all questions at least in my head

Yes, I have 1.2865 and 1.2830 as strong SR and good timing for longs to load up. I think we're on the threshold of a medium rally in world markets.

very nice!. looking at your chart the green circle would classify as the middle wall of this uptrend....interesting for sure

I took my 35 pips on that little trip down and I'm out. My current bias is shorting this pair on top side failures until price shows a reason.

I will catch all of you sometime in the NY session. Have to make the wife happy n go shopping.

be aware of the quarter pivot at 2842, if it busts the dp and xx50 psych levels, that one will be it for me if it even looks like it wants to stall...

I compared forexlion to bert-n-ernie on sesame street and got suspended. What a puss.

Plus I stumbled on this temporary strategy on EU with some new
RSI and STOCH parameters that's working right now, so why fix it if it aint broke. I'm sure by next week I'll get waxed and be back to the drawing board.

ok i was lying. i wasnt neutral when i posted originally. i had a sell position i did not want to show hoping that this indeed would turn into a h&s. Thats what my gut feeling told me. I dont recommend to anyone doing this when pa could break either way. In any case..closed half the position at +50..other half stop loss at entry tp at where neckline would be 1.2745. To be honest...Im experimenting with trying to let positions run longer then my usual 50pips.
