morning ppl. is this configuraton correct? i see 15 & 30 mins. candle sticks in downward configuration. who sees that?

I see it, play no longer meets my criteria...shortened play range with relatively flat indies can turn and pop on you in a second. Holding shorts from 1.4130 area, will let them ride...scalping for beer money now.

Unless there is a major incident, sterling seems to be holding around 1.40 could it be building a base, for a potential upward move? I mean, US equities are looking for a relief rally they may indirectly affect the pair.

I gauge this pair by USD standings in other trade pairs. Strength still seems to favor USD over GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD from what I am watching. Will follow this trend until see reason not to.

Top of the chart for USD/CAD (4 years) is a mere stones throw away, will be interesting to see if it busts through.

Funny thing about this pair...with the way she been playing, prolly the easiest money made is to set a hedged pair with a t/p of 60 on both sides and let her ride....

I'm not feeling to contradic yourself but saying that afterwhile is easy, while the pairs is moving is something else. Also, i wonder what you would do whit the order still open when the thing will make a price shock in the wrong way.

hedging is a pain, well, from me.

I didnt recommend this as a strategy, or suggest it as a guaranteed money maker... it was merely in jest....

An amusing strategy that I have both read about and tried...

GBP/JPY - hedge trade for US open, set S/L @-66 and T/P for +122.

Worked 2 out of 3 mornings for me....

The last one I played, sucked hard, lost on both sides....

AGAIN...not recommending it...just for amusement purposes only

GBP/USD Has a breakout from a minor upper trendline on Hourly Chart. There is another upper trendline and a major trendline which is also the lower trendline of the triangle pattern discussed earlier. This lower trendline of the major triangle pattern would now act as a stiff resistance. Break above this lines would force us to change our opinions. As of now it would be ideal to stay clear.

Very short term trades to the upside can be considered as there was a breakout of a minor triangle pattern as can be seen on the chart. The Target would ideally be at 1.4325. However this would be possible only if the lower trendline of the Major Triangle Pattern marked with a Green Thick trendline is crossed.

4150 level is critical in my opinion. Unless that level is fully breached, I do not see any reason going long. For the long haul at least

I'm short. The way the 15 minute candles are printing out, and with it being so close to the 1H 50 EMA, says to me sell.
