Hey this might seem like a stupid question, but when talking about the EUROPE session, what time is the open considered to be?

8am or 9am London

or

8am or 9am Rest of Western Europe??

GBP USD is in a consolidation after the last bearish movement. GBP USD is in a range between 1,4165 and 1,4375. The volatility is low. Bollinger bands are flat. ForexTrend is in a bearish configuration. The price should continue to move in Bollinger bands. If the support breaks then the target will be 1,4100 (180 pips).

Same here, I shorted yesterday at 1.4256 & several shorts from 1.4360 and 1.4333 but closed them out at 1.4300 last night but still in with my 1.4256 as we are still in a Major Down Trend and today, we should see another test of Suport at 1.4174 so have my TP in at 1.4179.

If not today, next week on this one.

If she goes up again today, will wait and look for more Short possitions over 1.4300.

What is the ForexTrend indicator. Are you refering to MatafNet indicator ? Seems to be the same text from mataf.net. Is n't it ?

GBP/USD - British Pound Dollar

Short term (Intraday)

1,4280. GBP USD is in a consolidation after the last bearish movement. GBP USD is in a range between 1,4165 and 1,4375. The volatility is low. Bollinger bands are flat. ForexTrend daily (Mataf Trend Indicator) is in a bearish configuration. The price should continue to move in Bollinger bands. If the support breaks then the target will be 1,4100 (180 pips).

Hi Matt
Cable quite often gives a small bounce does not always react to the 00. Best thing to do is look to see if the 00 has been respected in the recent past.

Statistics from a study I read are that
11% of firm's S&R levels end in 00
19% end in 00 and 50
70% end in 0
most importantly... 79% of their previous s&R levels are continued to the following day

Just closed my 1.4256 Sell at 1.4186, a NICE 76pips for a Friday morning.

Will see what happens now or might shart an early weekend.

I posted yesterday that my daily charts are showing a Major Drop on the GBP of 1000 pips but this could be from 1.4400 so my long term target is 1.3400.

This also tests the previous low of last month and also the 7 yr low if you look back on your charts for the last 25 yrs, you will see that 1.3400 is a 7yr average. In 1984, we saw 1.09 and that only took 9 mths to hit from when it hit 1.3400. This 7yr cycle is what the Banks look at.
