Well we failed to make a higher high yet but this move was just from a 50% of a nice pivot off of support around 4100.

DOW is above its daily open and dollar index is forming a doji on the hourly. If Obama is positive I see us going up.

Magix that is no longer a support level as price has now traversed the level alot of times. Look at the 4100/20 zone. That's some nice support.

Fib line on 1m chart @ 1.4220, we are currently below and holding 4sma on 5m, S/L set @ 1.4238 and holding to see if we dip below 1.4213, 1.4208 and then back to 1.417x area...

Does anyone see a bearish butterfly forming on 15 min?..This would mean that the segment C-D would have to rise higher than recent high of 1.4300....possibility to close gap and finish forming the usual last rise of 4H H&S.....this would also take us to 4H 50ema before a NICE fall?????

Any thoughts on this?

There will be a shitload of sellers around 4350 area of closing the gap. I will be one of them.

I dont know much about this. If i just heard correctly on bloomberg both Obama and Bernanke are speaking today? Could get wild!

That is the level I have been watching all day which would close the gap nicely. It would require a break above this down TL though. I can definitely see it happening but it's crucial we close beneath that point IMO

Following Abuawad's methodology with great interest.

From Abuawad's GBPUSD Daily Analysis chart for 2/18/09...
posted before the London open, there was a projected entry
level for a trigger off of a 4H close / open above 1.4265.

I had an 8:00 GMT London open at 1.4269 (IBFX) and 1.4275 (Alpari).

Am I being presumptuous or is my timing off?

Reading Abuawad's chart analysis results for the day...

Shouldn't the first trade have triggered a BUY? Followed by a
stop loss at 1.4209? Yes there was a spike to ~1.4298 in
the 90 minutes prior to the 8:00 GMT open and it was still
above the entry point at the open.

Reading through the thread over the past 8+ hours I
didn't see anyone commenting on initially taking a LONG
and then getting stopped out at the S/L AND THEN JOINING
THE MOVE DOWN FROM THE 1ST SELL ENTRY @1.4205.

Did I miss something in the rules or charts or some discretionary
factor that over-road or caused one to pass on this LONG ENTRY?

I'd appreciate any comments now after the fact.
