It has hit 1h 50ema which has acted as good resistance on this down move. I would have sold there but my bloody internet connection! As it is I can see it getting to 4h 50/62ema at about 4385 or so which would also close the gap.

Hi, newb question...do any of you guys do straddles and if so, how would you plan and action it? got any rules you use? thx.

I done it on my analysis, whit tight stop loss and ridiculous position size.

Sure to return from this level 1.4310 ??,,,,I am keep my shorts from 1.4780 and hope but my TP at 1.4050,,,but it seems that 1.4230:50 is hard te be breaked now

sounds like you got a short going and you want to hedge it. I am not a user of straddles.. SL is the best bet....
difficult to estimate exit....

Probably, mainly because any news and its outcome has already been factored in the Longer Time Frames... although this news was good for the Pound I suspect that after the initial spike is worked out we will continue on our merry way south.

Personally I'm still short since 0500 GMT yesterday @ 1.4216, seeing that we are in Bearish trend since last week Tuesday 10/02 03000 GMT @ 1.4800. Except for Friday's Bullish correction.

The only thing that has me a bit worried is the GAP on Tokyo Open. That messes PA, Indis and everything else around!

If we do close today above 1.4400 we might see a reversal in Trend.

I certainly see us getting close to it but would be very surprised if we closed above it. I have daily R1 at 4360 and 4h 50/62ema just under 4400 and would expect stern resistance from both.

I monitor levels 20 30 70 80 and cross overs at 30 are bullish..and 70 are bearish..

but this is just one indicator..look at ema levels too

Using CCI as well...

Well, its late for me, i'm GMT-5 and i catched back those lost pips on early news position.
I'm happy of today so i'll take a rest, its part of my "dicipline", LOL.
