ive got a long on the euro at 1.2757 with sl at 1.2695 and TP 1.3295. Worth it just for the rr. what do you think

It might, but it wouldn't be a reverse per say, because we are still in the sideways area, we'd be going to the upper side of this range above 1.2850, only below 1.2750 and then 1.2700 a resume of bearish trend may be assumed.

We have been in a nice wide channel, between 1.2750 and 1.29 where the PA above 1.2850 assumes bull breakout chance, and a PA below 1.28 and below assumes a bear breakout chance.

1.28 - 1.2850 is a transition zone, price rarely stops in this area, it's being crossed either by bull runs or bear runs constantly.


It will break somewhere, someday... And it looks pretty powerfull.

i hope you senior members can answer this one. how did you guys know there was going to be a short market gap after this weekend? i have theories, but its not conclusive. care to share?

guys i set a sell stop order on the eur/usd on friday nite but one order was cancelled by the broker, while the other -$303. i dont understand what happened...

C'mon guys, just because your broker doesn't allow to trade in the weekend, that doesn't mean that currencies aren't traded during the weekend!

For example, tourists exchanging currencies all over the world, companies making payments, banks setting up positions.

What you see as a "gap" is the difference between your broker(aka robber in some circles.. ) close, and your broker re-open in the start of next week.

That gap only exists because your broker doesn't record off-hours price action, so it looks like a gap, but really it isn't...

There are several sites that offer 24/24 quotes, it isn't really a prediction, it is either a guess that went right or a statement of what is happening at this moment, resorting to realtime information from those sites.
