Willing to short at 1.2890 as 1H resistance line could create more shorts, unless it breaks.

Everyone is getting hit at different rates, some sooner than others.

Australia is better able to handle the global meltdown but it too has a stimulus package out there and it's growth rate and interest rates are trending downwards. Still, it's not Iceland or the US. But certain countries are going to feel the squeeze at different points in time.

p.s. most of my quote got cut off, not sure why. But Germany is officialy in recession, exports have fallen 25% in a year, and a Goldman Sachs analyst said that industry in Germany was in freefall. So it isn't roses in Germany.

aussia isnt safe either it takes time for things to happen and china is buying less commodities.. look at copper aluminum steel there all down and moving further down.. u.s. buys from china .. and we slowed buying... so eventually if u.s. continues to slow down auss will take a big hit.. if it turns around tomorrow they will still take a hit........it takes time to use inventory... commodity prices tell it all.. the canary in the gold mine.. ... now gold could help aud

Just a quick question.. where do you guys see this market going? I got two trades left with -126 pips at the moment. This week I've locked in about 680 pips this week so far. I can see it going up 1.2964 just not sure like most people if the E/U will finally pick a direction. Should I just close up those two trades and be happy with 500 pips this week?

I would like to let it ride into the Euro session, but the pending economic news is something I don't think will be good for my two buys.

Don't get me wrong I like it when the market goes sideways gives a chance to recover from some serious losses a few weeks ago. Now I trade with a healthier Margin level ^_^.. Gives me room to execute more trades at key points during the day without blowing my account in a day or even month ...

It looks like the eur/usd isn't gonna even close below 1.2850. We might see a bullish bounce to about 1.32-1.33 now.

dont feed on the bs the politicians are feed ing you..when gov steps in theses bad assets arent going to magically disapear.. they will still be there. in a true free market bad companies fail for bad choices.. then the other companies move in and fill the void..yes people at bad companies lose their jobs.. but at least the others at the good companies survive..and eventually pick up the bad companies employees.. goldmen ect hedged oil screwing us all and lost.as they called for 200$pb. deregulation ... i can own oil then say its gonna go up...what kinda crap is that...now they want us to pick up the pieces.. its funny paulson used to run goldmen... anway im long vasoline cause its cheaper then K-Y and everyone is looking 4 a bargen

I use the GMT time for opening candles. MY guess is that if we close near or slightly up from 1.29 it will be a bullish signal. Also, daily stochastics are starting to turn and head higher. 4H ones have a bullish look also. However, 1.2936 has proven to be a great point for upmove containment.

I would like to see a strong break of that value for bullish entering. 1.33 is a good target once the bullish stance is confirmed.
