DJ MARKET TALK: Dlr Climbs As Some Reassess Fed Position

1727 GMT [Dow Jones] The dollar is climbing across the board as investors
reassess the market's reaction to the Fed's softening of its tightening bias
Wednesday. "There is talk that we were overly dovish in our interpretation of
the communique," Grant Wilson said referring to the Fed's policy statement
Wednesday, "and that the Fed wants to take a little bit of that back."
According to Wilson, the market was "a bit too dollar bearish," in its reaction
Wednesday, and was thus "susceptible to a move like this." At 1:20 p.m. EDT,
the dollar was at Y118.24 versus Y117.55 late Wednesday, while euro stood at
$1.3315 from $1.3379, according to EBS.

odd... oil, gold up, dollar still relatively weak. I think somebody big is covering positions or protecting options.
