Why you are so hard on me , people ? By the way ....it's my monney , not yours !!! I was just asking what do you think is the trend !!!! Maybe it's hard for you to understand what i am going true....but is even hard for me to understand why all of you going nuts when i tell you what my possition is .....maybe is because you never afort to trade 500 K or what ? Sorry , don't meant to be rooth !!!

I believe all the banks got tired of speculative fluctuations, so now all currencies have been pegged in value.

It's bizarre, seems every currency pair has decided to stall and not move.

Well, let's be honest here, your experience has been of little or no use and hasn't taught you the most basic lessons. Going forward, you have to completely overhaul your trading style, otherwise you will not last. That's the harsh but true reality. What you describe is gambling and not trading, friend.

For the record, I am not trading on demo or with 10k lots, and I have a great deal more experience than you possess. I have also managed much larger risk than your post describes.

However, I can understand your thinking behind holding the losing trade, despite price action screaming you should do the contrary. At this stage rational thought goes out the window and sheer emotion takes over. I have been there myself and lost money. This is why you must use stops, no matter what. I realise this advice is of little use for your current trade, but please learn for future reference.

They are hard on you because they don't want you to lose the rest of your money.

If you're going to place another trade, at least try to figure out how you could have prevented your losses. Some amount of loss is expected, since not every trade will go our way, but successful traders will ALWAYS enter a trade with a stop loss - this ensures that should the trade go against us, that our losses our limited.

Successful traders NEVER rely on luck or hope, if they are in a bad trade, they limit their losses, get out, and look for the next trade.

It is the worst thing that can happen to a trader.

While your back is turned, price walks down the street and turns the corner...never to be seen again.

It may seem like everyone is being hard but there is also other people who are new to forex reading this as well, so i feel it is to their benefit that it is said.

Also it doesnt matter how much you had or have no one wants to sit in so much negative equity for soo long its just not healthy.

Most people here are trading real accounts with real money too.

I hope you get out of this with your account unhurt but i do feel if you havent learnt anything then its been a wasted experience

Ok, I didn't mean to sound rude, just trying to understand your background. As to my ability to trade $500k, well, I won't even go there. I don't care if you are trading penny lots or $100Klots, it's all the same system. To hold a position as long as you have through the fall she's taken is amazing. We've all done it, and those of us who learned from it, will never do it again. We are in the midst of history atm, we have made a massive fall since July 15, 2008 and the bottom I believe is no where in sight. So, to answer your question, I believe we still have further falling before we go back up. Today, we are at a critical point, she's touched the bottom of the daily wedge that she broke out of and technically, if she doesn't break it, she will continue to fall and even further than she fell the first time she broke through it. As you said, it's your money and you can trade and do with it as you please, but I would like to see you be able to recover from this and make up your loss with good quality trades in the future. The first path to profit is to recognize the mistakes you've made so you don't make them again.

But i think u need to get a Mentor....someone who will tell you to do things you would not want to do....but has the best interest for you....because he has gone the way before you.
