has anyone seen these fibs. im not really a fibs expert so not sure how to interpret this but perhaops a break under the .38 will signal a move back to the 1.35 lows

If you adjust your fibs to start at 1.5370 (the start of the move down) then you could notice that the price just hit 38.2 level and heads down at this time.

Time will tell. BTW, I'm short again @ 1.4085

Closed my short last night. Had held it since middle of Dec.

I am long now cable and also against CAD.

I think we are due a correction back up although I see some big event risk around Feb 5th when I think MPC will be forced to lower rates.

yeppp the beastard is going upp... though still not getting on the long train. though if the next hour the pair can keep above 1.4100 than the bulls would be even stronger.

It also looks as if some of the strength in Cable may be coming from the EUR/GBP cross. It is making a nice move down.

Yep I think that Eur could well be next for the guillotine.

It seems to me that sterling suffered due to a lack of clarity and transparency from the UK government and central bank. They didn't realise just how bad things were. Now we all know.

But Euro central bankers still seem to think all is rosey. Despite Spain and Ireland being in the dump and Germany not looking too clever.

Time for punishment maybe.
