Hello ! it's my first time when i right on this thread ...i use to read and learn but i am in deep shit rigt now ! I have 100.000 GBP bye on 1.51 with ni SL until now ....( i know it sound like i am veryyyy stupid ...and maybe i am ) , i have until now -10.500 Euro and a balance of 20.000Euro ...margin 7.65% ! Do you think i can ever make my 20.000 back ? Or not ? What can i do ? I am a 33 years girl and i am a biginner in forex world !

Many Brokers open in 1.5 hours time (21.00GMT) which could also be enough time to close the gap before your broker opens!!

Can you not contact your broker by phone and if you think that the gap may start to close then exit your trade. The balls in your court.

Please read what I am about to type, I am sure many people here will agree with it.

Withdraw all your money that you have left, close your trade out.
Read everything again and set up a demo account.
Only invest that money you have when you are making money on your demo account. Treat the demo account like its real money.

Second advice is, only go with the current trend, always.
Some people can go counter trend, but that is something u must no you can do in a demo account.

I hope you do this, because if you hope you will make that money back you can end up loosing everything.

i just needed to add some more here
1- always have stop loss...........
2- never start with standard contract....try mini size first

but i think you are looking for some prescription for your trade
i say that history repeats but we donno when...try to get out of it in some rebound.........

You are 100 % right but it's to late to withdraw ....if i do that i can save only 8.914 euro and loose 10.530 ....it's to late don't you think? If i can loose all , so be it ...but i can't close that deal now ! I understand what you mean ....i was on demo long time ago , i just ask from you to estimate when thw gpb will be 1,51 again ....because even if she go to 1.30 i better deposit 5.000 E again then loose 10.000 ! I can affort ! It's just a matter of time !!!

Take out Your money
Do it NOW

Then Demo trade untill you can make 2 months work profitably. Dont wait, how do you no the rebound hasnt already occured?
You wont know, you will just be risking loosing even more money.

Secondly You was only going for 40 pip profit with no stop loss??

Also no-one here can help you, its your money.

I agree this is very good advice and is the safest option.

My view of the GBP/USD is that in the very short term we could see down to 1.3735 again and then back up to 1.4050 level maybe as soon as this week, if this level is broken we could see as high as 1.44xx. I very much doubt we will go higher than 1.44xx before falling down again hard! This is only my personal view of the market, bear in mind there is also a lot of data coming out of the US this week and this can change things drastically in an instant.
Whenever you decide to close out this trade then you must follow the advise given and practice on demo account first until your 100% comfortable with going live. Once you are live use very very small margin and increase this very very slowly. Good luck and I hope you make the right decision.

This appears to be a classic example of playing with scared money. If you can't afford to lose it - then it shouldn't have been in the market at all.

I am not trying to be hard here, but the fact that you didn't place a stop loss, and refuse to get out - you are getting what you deserve.

Thank you all for the advice ....i know you all give me good advice but is the second time when i am doing this f... mistake ....i was in the same shit with the eur-usd last year when it was 1. 25... and i was buying on 1.39 ....and i recover from it....

Its never too late to close a trade out as long as there is money to protect in your account. If you have it in your head that you never ever want to experience any drawdown from your account then you might as well forget Forex. You will make losing trades a lot! You need to decide when you will close a trade when it goes against you before you take the trade!

My view is that you will have to close this trade at a loss, the loss will be less painful if your lucky enough to see 1.4050 or 1.44xx.

from what i've seen..xe.com can be trusted..just have some faith..
if during asia session on h4,close below 3620,i think she will straight go to last week low..maybe she'll bounce or maybe she'll break thru the steep bearish tl..& we might see the sept85 3015..with some people here said about the "broken britainnia",i dont think that we might see the 1.5xxx soon..but we might bounce up to 1.4xxx at h4 62/50ema from last week low today..then,like eo always said,get your soldiers ready..then we tank..h4 close below 1.35,this week target for me is 1.30..but this is just from my view..i'm still learning also here..correct me if i am wrong..
