When the ma's cross, they can prove to be a turning point in the recent trend. For example, the last time the 4h 5/10 crossed was roughly 550 pips ago. Not only is the cross signifigant, so is the angle of the cross and the opening of the mouth (part on the right side of the cross). If I see it pointing at 2:00 pm with a wide mouth, she's turning. Longs become the major player at that point.

Mine does not show them crossing yet but it is getting close to doing so. my bar closes in 20 minutes.... h4 bar that is... the bar around the corner does not close until midnight...

Thanks very much for that. I use the 5sma for entrances and adding additional positions on the 1h and daily -- price always seems to come back to touch it before moving on. Haven't tried the MA crosses yet so I will add the 10e or sma to compare. Trying to reduce my trading to candles and MAs principally so this could help a lot. Cheers

She can be green in about 215points. Not that it's not been done, hell we've all seen it move 400points in 30m before. I really don't want to see it green yet. I want the DOW down to 7800 for the bounce back to 9000.

Damn good thing the bar around the corner doesn't close til midnight. If they closed in 20m, I'm moving to Jamaica to open a bar around the corner from your house the opens in 20m.
