its just done it again. broker showing 14503 but didnt change for 8 mins other pairs working ok.

I think it's your broker. My feed on 5 min chart has not shown 1.4477 since 40 minutes ago.

interesting to note, not sure if anyone pointed it out already and the chart i use for tracking the dollar index is not all that good but it works for daily. the gap that came on dec 8 (not sure if the charts i use are just missing a bar or not, can anyone confirm the gap that i see??) has just been filled today. also the 50 day ma capped the dollar index today...

Does your broker go idle for 3 mins for the turn of the day? Price on my chart is 4512atm.

time to sleep, and add, Pending order on asia session...... see ya in next 8 hour.

add Sell Limit @ 4470
and buy Limit @ 4535

I meant speeding train on the larger time frames, not just today...

certainly not a speeding train though, you're right

just logged on to check on my long and see that i am very slightly in the green - enough for a morning coffee tomorrow and not much else.

lol. Not realy. it was only £15 and I'm 24quid up if I take my profit now..

it's the other 460 I leant to THE MAN that I want back. With intrest..

it was do or die and now I'm in the green i can't lose on this one. Have been dummy trading as a practice but its easy to make the calls and most of them have worked out but when it comes to putting your balls on the line I lack the confidence and then miss the setup and try and get back into it thats been my real problem coupled with an almost empty account you have to be sure cos I can only just cover the min 15pip s/l.

Yeah you have to ring if you want to trade but thats around 8pm (3hrs ago)

Never seen that happen before. Weird.

hehe.. pay no attention to the gaps... each broker has different opening times... once I learned that.. I stopped even thinking about gaps.

I would like that amount of a retrace for sure and so would my long. I'll be looking for a short there.
