I am reading a MQL4 tutorial and I think I have found something very very wrong!!!
The tutorial link:
http://innovationstartups.wordpress....opment-course/
PS: It looks like Coders guru wrote the tutorial, as it says in lession3 string str1 = “Hello world1, with you coders guru”;
+ Addition operator
A = B + C;
Description Add A to B and assign the result to C.
- Subtraction operator
A = B - C;
Description Subtract C from B and assign the result to C.
For the description of addition hes says; Add A, when A is the answer! also he says assign the result to C, when again A is the answer not C! It looks like you add C to B and assign the result to A.
In the descripton for subtraction he only uses the letters C, B and again C (I thort that addition and subtraction were opposites).
If the descriptions were opposite...
As the description for addition is: Add A to B and assign the result to C.
Subtraction should be: Subtract A from B and assign the results to C.
any way mabey one or both of the descriptions are wrong, I think it goes like so:
+ Addition operator
A = B + C;
Description Add C to B and assign the result to A.
A = B - C;
Description Subtract C from B and assign the result to A.
The sum looks like it is written left to right as the answer is at the start. At school I did maths like this C-B=A with the answer at the end. This logic does not seam to apply with this sum if you do the addition with it, ie: C+B=A (If ABC is 123 youve just said 3+2=1 and even my little brother knows thats wrong!!!) sorry to 'Coders guru' if am wrong I am new at programming learning every day but this does not help. It is confusing, and has killed my brain for tonight.
