Infinity is one hell of a trader. As to your question you asked last night, sorry I didn't get back, I was too focused and high on my own position. As to if I would have added or entered at the 4925. Here's what I would have done if I wasn't in a trade. I would have waited for the candle that closed through the 15m 50ema and went short on the opening of the next candle. Secured +2 once that candle closed, but since the following candle didn't go back through the 15m 50ema, I would have closed out once that candle closed and waited for a new entry.

It makes us new lads not feel as bad when you put it like that. Its reasuring to know that not all my calls are bad, but puts my puny losses in perspective.

I have been following your thread EO and making better calls for it. Just laking the confidence to go with what I am seeing as my account is now very small. Saying that I feel I can pull it back from the brink given time. Keep up the good work. and thanks.

I'm not going to let it buck me off from trading. My system is sound. Just some crazy movements right now. I hate to start out the first week of the new year with such a loss though, but losses are a part of this.

that must have been a huge s/l gap or a huge position or both..in my terms anyway

but as you say - you win some and lose some and I dont believe any 'masters' who claim to just win and win - they have a personality disorder in claiming that and lose all cred with me

Most of em turn out to be on demo account, and living in an old trailer at the back of an industrial park in ohio - and connecting wirelessly to the internet using a stolen laptop via a coffee shop across the tracks

anyway - back in the saddle eh - onwards and upwards

I'm glad my thread is providing value to your trading. We all have losses, just remember to keep your losses in proportion to your account. IE. I've made 22K in one trade, just as I've lost it in one.

you did call the fall perfectly.just stopped at 810 instead of 770.

But youre right better put it behind you and focus ahead.Heck I had a bunch of shorts going and couldnt sleep a wink and if it hadnt been for you I wouldve cut and run at 4990ish yesterday.

I was too heavy on my position. I started my short brigade at 4725 and added all the way til I had 10 Lots on the trade. I don't like to go that high. 8 is fine, 10 and I start getting edgy.

Thanks. the encouragement and advice you get on this thread helps loads. I think it will take me a little longer to recoup my losses and start turning a profit even tho the amounts are a fraction of what your trading but I will get there..
