A cool short with 8590 as target would have a reason to test the bottom.

ouch, you are right!. The pair is trading synthetically high!.
A re-test or repetition of the classical undamped oscillations might occur, as it seems to be...
- Short one more time today.. Yesterday burnt -15
SL just above yesterday high...TP as per Fib retracement..
I think if she can reach 38.2 Fib that will be fantastic..but as long as she give me reasonable green pips , I will satisfy..

short at 8735 with target at 8685. I see a slowing in the trend which might trigger some downside interests..

I`ll stick to short trades as much as possible, as we are already overbought and can`t risk buying over peak...

It has broken all time highs - no one wants to buy the pound anymore - there is still a lot of countries who hold reserves in Euros - EU zone doesn't look good either - but is much better placed than UK - plus a lot more such fundamentals say that E/G is going higher.

Technically we should be looking at 88.60-88.90 region as a fib level before a retracement.
I noticed there are 2 dojis now on the four chart. Could be good for shorts?

Yeah. I'm watching for now. I do also notice it has on of those hanging man candles in front of the dojis. In books anyway this is supposed to be a great setup. I may take this short if it breaks below 8740.

I do think we gonna see Nov 95 high @ 0.9 level so we will have nice double top on monthly chart... then short to the abyss we are , or else we gonna see parity for Euro..heh hehhhh..just joking
Just look how many times she's dancing and bouncing at FE 61.8 level ..
As of now I really don't know where she would goes.. So, I will watch from side line only...few times already I get caught by red pips.. I think I will start trade back this pair on Jan 09...Mean time I will look at other GBP and EUR pair..

I got a feeling we will see 0.9 level soon but my feeling always wrong..

Hi

The consolidation / correction that began from the October low is either a B wave (triangle or flat) within an A-B-C decline or part of a second wave (flat) within an impulse. I wrote last week that 'there is short term upside potential to 126 if the EURJPY breaks through the resistance line near 122.50.' The EURJPY broke through and hit 1.26 today. There are too many possibilities at the current juncture to put forth a strong directional bias. A d wave of a triangle could begin within the next few days and bring price back to 120 or lower. Just as possible is that the rally accelerates and price exceeds 130 and tests Fibonacci resistance at 1.3250.

I think this is the race to parity... everybody are selling pound to reach parity .. parity is the level to watch now... We could see warm weather there ...

This is surely gambling party between two currency race...

You don't need a chart to tell or play this EURGBP game at the moment..
You won't see any logic in the chart anymore this DEC..

That's very serious issue there!
Someone could get confuse...no techs because of the season?
EURGBP is in a race to parity but that's a conclusion we get from techs, isn't it?
EUR/GBP parity is simply a level that investors become slightly hypnotised by because it has been an almost unthinkable situation in the past decade. But if we were to cross the previously inconceivable 1.00 during the next few months (or perhaps even before New Years Eve in thin trading), it would then become a level like any other, and the magic would be lost for ever in our view.
