Well, this is the first time I have traded the EUR/GBP... based my trade on the 1hr and 4hr divergences and it proved to be a nice way to end the trading year. I realize that nothing was posted prior to my trade, but I'm still getting used to putting my trades down on paper... maybe I'll get better in the new year... that's my goal anyways.

What a crazy month for this pair on DEC ...1600pips up ...miss +/- 200pips to parity 1.0 .....

From my super thin Fundies knowledge , I think the saviour for EU were actually GBP , without the Brit currency , EU should already vaporate to thin air and down to the abyss ...

Might be worth watching for a pullback....

Still valid, just no confirmation of a top yet.

Currently, EUR/GBP is trading at 0.9471. I feel that EUR/GBP could hit $1 by next month.

If close below 0.93 - I would preferred to SELL with target 0.87
If close above 0.95 then DEC08 high will served as target with 1.0 2nd target.

Just went short @ 0.9319, SL @ 0.9350

Have been tracking EUR/GBP today, watching it fall, as I look at the chart now, is this what you would call 'support level' ?

And is likely to turn?

The yellow line was previously resistance area.If the price bounces off here you could say it is resistance that has changed to support.

The blue line is support area.

Will the price bounce off the yellow line?

I could not say.

You could look at Euro and Pound and how strong they look against other currencies,mainly the dollar,to give you more of an opinion of the direction.

What moves EUR/GBP? Hello I am trying to get some infomation about the Forex pair EUR/GBP what normally moves this pair as I know that it is correlated with the EUR/USD and the GBP/USD...

I have found that gbp/jpy is negatively correlated to eur/gbp about 70% of the time if not more.

Fellow traders: I have been studying the e/g lately and would like to see if there are others out there who would like to chat for the hour before london on what is going on with e/g. I have noticed that it tends to move in the hour before or early in the london session and would like to get some of those pips. It also seems to have one good move in the US session, after the stock market opens and before london closes. This pair to me isn't that volitial during each candle and for now moves enough to trade it.

Hello, nice to meet u all. i'm a nubie who try play with EG pair. this is my view for it. Upper trend line (diagonal red line)works perfectly as resistance for this few days. i entered pos near the UTL, stop 16 pips from it and targeting last low.

Anybody trading this pair right now? seems its a time to short Euro/Gbd @ 0.8835

I just shorted .8950 at 8:47 AM EST.

Reached extreme overbought levels and shows a hourly res line at .8948.

1st Target .8900 then .8800 is .8900 doesnt bounce.

I would not short this pair just yet,it is showing short ie:stoch,rsi but has not come down yet.I don 't know why people do not trade this pair $1=1.76 less pips more $$$$$$$$.This was a turtle trade (pair very slow).

I also shorted this at .8966 as I show this is right at the top of my daily chart channel. Anyone have any idea why this is pair is opposite correlated to the GBP/CHF pair?

Where did you put your SL at. I also shorted at .8966.
