can i just ask, do you double up at resistance levels when price goes against you or do you set a stop ? say the price goes above 2 lines you posted earlier would you add another short at the third line or on the way to 3rd line also or just let your stop being hit, then how big is it?

the thing with demo accounts is that you cannot experience real psychological issues that you do when you trade live account and therefore results are not true representation of what you will most likely achieve. its better to trade with real money imho be it even $10.

I see no where in this chart where trades on this pair should have been taken at all this week. Can someone explain to me why it is so damn hard to be patient.

There are a very small few that can trade this thing with action this week. Even then I think although they are good traders they are still crazy to me.

Look at that one hour chart folks no reason until atleast those two lines are tested that you should even consider taking a trade.

Some of you make this so much harder then you have too.

Just a question for you about your system. I see the logic behind it but how do you manage your risk, i.e. how do you determine stops? I ask you this because if you applied the same technique when 1.9342 was taken out earlier this year, you would have taken a big hit unless you had a reasonable stop in place. The same could be said about other support/resistance areas when they were taken out so I am just curious to know how you ascertain your stops. Also how long do you normally hold a trade?

It is good, your fault is neglecting to put a Stop Loss !
Btw stay here is a good choice. We have many experts and many systems here ! Spend your time here, I am sure you will able to improve your strategy to cover your loss !

A very logical question. My stops are from 70-90 pips. no more than that usually. I look for support areas if i buy and set stops 20-30 below that.

If im selling 20-30 above resistance. This allows my risk reward to be 1.5/1 at the worst.

Trades can be held all week if i think its a good idea. Trend trades are held longer than counter.

I was saying for me there is no place on that chart i would consider a trade on g/u this week. Just me

Do yourself a favor dont follow this thread. Learn to trade on your own study charts. If you follow this forum you will most likely become a casualty.

I wouldnt trust 90% of the people on here with two dollars.
