I am very happy with this broker. it's just a pain about the damn 5 decimnal places. well it's some thing we all have to come to grips with as it's coming 01/01/09 non negotiable.

8.Well, I did not receive any time a requote that helped me, all requotes were those in which the price was going in my favor and had to enter at a worst price.
Here is a scenario: Let's say I want to go long eur/usd and the price is now at 1.2002 you have to wait a few seconds until the transaction is executed and in the meantime if the price climbs to 1.2006 (in my favor) alpari send a requote, but if the price is lead to 1.2000 alpari execute the transaction at 1.2002 so from the beggining my position is -4 pips.
And btw, this happens very often.
Maybe for others it's not happen because they lose in the long term but I win consistently and this could be a problem for alpari because I take the money from alpari pocket, because they are a market maker.
But now I'm happy because i don't use alpari anymore, viva Currenex.

The Alpari platform (demo) seems to have frozen for me right now (9:50 EST). Anyone else?

Last night, around 9 or 10 pm EST, spread on GBP/JPY was 70 pips.
USD/JPY and EUR/JPY were 30.

IBFX spreads were normal at that same time.

Is Alpari having liquidity issues?

Alpari demo accounts (used all 3 servers from UK platform and 2 from US platform) are frozen for me too for nearly 12 hours

The price of EURUSD is frozen to 1.2750

Anyone knows why ?

Oh, please, I don't think so. We all need to take a break from the market sometimes. We can't allow it to take over our lives completely.

You say that... and I agree... however, if you look at my timetable last week... I must have spent about 15 hours in total dedicated to trading (ie watching the screens while browsing various forums) because I was either climbing, training, teaching martial arts or dining with friends. And I've made the most pips in a week ever.

Well it may look more naive and less as a result of my newbie status but even i was related with currency exchange i was so thrilled from forex activity and the ability of 24H option all the week that i totally forgot the obvious "rest" for the weekend. Charts need a rest too, up, down and sideways is not an easy job for them.
