sell at 9675( expected spike through devils pivot, with strong breakdown initiated by henry carol soros - buy limit 9544(for now) see the larger term trend as up and that is a good level right now as we will have positive reversal in rsi at turn at that level and some good spots nearby to set tight stops. As for the immediate future it still seems like 1600 tick is rolling over so if this badboy is to take off, I feel our weekly downside test will come in these first couple of days. A firm breakout over last two weeks highs should give us a significant move back to the98's. if we can get this downside test first, would be a nice place to look for setup to go long(which is my preferred direction).

If my orders were at those levels they would have to be stop orders not limit orders. You cant buy limit above the price and sell limit below it.

A reportedly large sized 1.3175 strike in [EUR/USD] is due to expire at 15.00GMT, this likely to keep the price pinned around current levels for the next few minutes. A touted 1.3200 barrier is also said to expire today, so post-15.00GMT trading could see another push for what should be, if the structure exists, large stops above the figure.

I'm amazed that the GBP/USD has not shown some sign of strength in the midst of dollar weakness. This concerns me. Why won't this sap-sucka get to moving already??

U.S. to atack Iran nowadays? I cant believe it!
Listen Iran military is almost underground after 80's war with Iraq. How could US millitary inteligence bomb it then, even if they find it? Then: are Americans willing to struggle in another civil war (or almost civil war if you wish)? I mean no!
There are other ways to settle it. New paradigm I say.
Americans had better to make it an ally rather then to offend it. Current radicalism of Ahmadinejad policy is possible mainly due to Americas foreign policy. If you are since year 1979 disallowing legitimity of state, would that state lay on its knees and ask you for act of grace (to take better shape: should Israel do that)? Theese are both distinctive problems.
Moore than that, strong side of Iranian inteligence (even among radicals) thnigs, it's better to talk with america if they ought to rule the region (respective that they cant achieve it without america's permission).
Now let me thnik: if America faces problem how to make regime better for them, would they ultimately use force to settle it? Or (facing problems what it brings - both military and civil) will they rethink their policy and make their mind (both with Iranians) how to settle better way? Iran is regional power what wants to play significant role in region, does it have better way to achieve that goal than fight an America? Does U.S. have better way how to uphold their interest in region than to destruct that regime?
I mean, facing that, both sides (but first step by U.S.) have to revisit it. As I said, the Left winged radicals loose their ground if US rething their policy.
BTW (and off topic of an off topic) would you thing that oil will go down during the year? I'm pretty sure!.-) But notta good for U.S. still. Arabian regimes are investing their trade surpulses into U.S. debts (it is almost 1.3 trilion in debts now). Lower prices, lower financing of U.S. deficit. Watch out theese pretty things. It isnt in americas interest to hurt 'em!

NYC needs to rediscover cocaine. If we were to measure volatility in NYC we would notice it has pretty much flatlined except for a couple of small burps. It is truly due for a volatility breakout very soon - what will be the catalyst - do you think it has to do with taxes - march 15 filing deadline for corporations - april 17th for individuals

[IRAN] As we suggested last week, while the military option is still on the table, especially with continued saber-rattling from both Washington and Tehran, the engagement option is also still an option. Talk is growing of a potential opening of Iran by the West, with the US and the EU meeting today to discuss the options in Iran. The prospects for tighter sanctions seem improbable given Moscow and Beijing's opposition, while given domestic pressures on the Bush administration and the recent developments with regards to North Korea, the military option seems to be taking a backseat to engaging Tehran. Talk in the diplomatic circles is that Iran is growing increasingly nervous and recent economic and financial restraints are crippling its economy, and therefore, and despite the rhetoric, they are ready to talk.

We will go on having choppy market/bumpy ride here while this situation remains unclear.

This might be the break we have been waiting for.. Do you think its got the legs to get past 9660 though.. it doesnt look too strong.. however any movement right now is better than what weve just had to watch for the last 4 hours!!

On slow days like today with GBP it helps to have quick indic ... then we can load up on lots and still make good money eg 10 lots going for 5 pips gets you a good 50 pips.
