These are what I call my local fibs. I renew them as the day progresses deleting the oldest one. But I always keep fibs from hi lo of day b4 until part way through the asian session when I have to hit the sack.

ps in one of your previous posts you mentioned about an S or R being tested 3 times b4 it broke or bounced (not 100% sure of your wording) but I cant find the post. Can u remember what I may be talking about

The low that we had @ 17261 could be all that there was with regards to a retracement and with the news that has come out of the UK re the bank bail out which has been adopted throughout Europe it appears may be more favourable than the US bail out and the markets may react accordingly and thus push the GBP higher Just a thought but the truth is

eohater is right. GBP USD is a funny pair. When technicals are running, you can almost bet money (oh wait..we are) that it will hit a high (or low) twice. Just like you can bet that it will return to the spike low from last friday to 6775 (or very close to it). It may take a couple days, or sometimes longer if news and "other events" interfere, but eventually technicals will take over and run back to do it's thing.

This is one of those things you will notice about this pair the longer you study it. It will do this accross multiple time frames. Even the 5M. A LOT of times it will peak (up or down) give up 20-30 pips the other way and retun to it's previous hi/low before it truly goes the other direction. You can open up the 5M chart and watch it happen over and over.
I know it. I got burned on a short and it kicked back like a bunch of monkeys lit on fire and went the other way.

Monday has been good to me and I hope that this may continue my run since trading resumed am +506 -64.

I would be more interested at shorting around this area. You might be caught buying a top.

Unfortunately I think you were too early on your entry. I think a long back to the recent high might have worked out. It's bouncing off the 15m 10ema and trying to break through. I took a short from 1.7468 and closed it out for 30 quick ones. Now I'm sitting on the side and I'll be back in a couple of hours to relook at the charts. It's still family time for me! See everyone in a couple of hours.

I wish I would have taken that long. I saw it when she couldn't break through the 10ema on the 15m. I'll have some charts later for everyone. Just checking in on the price right now!

i didn't really trade much today. i made one that retraced and hit my BE but would have hit my target had i just left the dum thing alone.

Good morning! It's only 10:30pm for me right now. I'll be up for about 4 more+ hours, sleep for abour 4h, then get up and go again. It's the schedule I've been on now for 2 years. Sometimes, I forgo watching price during the Asian Session and go to bed around this time, but I usually find myself awake in about 4hours not being able to sleep.

BTW: Your long is kicking ass right now!

She'll definately move East.... I don't know where she's going, only where she's been. I'm not currently in a trade. I missed my entry long when I closed my short out. I was having family time at the time so I didn't have time to spend on trading. I only took the short because I looked at the charts and she said take me. I'll post a chart on that trade in a minute.
