same. i would hope, it would bounce off of 1.36 at the max. but we'll see. my shorts stopped out already since I had a tight SL. so ... waiting to see where we go when NY opens.
1.3600 it was!!
I have closed my 1.3630 Long now at 1.3690.
I have another long at 1.3605, let's see Where this crap goes?
If this H4 candle close above 1.3666 I keep my short term long view, if not maybe close my long to enter later!

So my only trade for today:

watching on 1M timeframe we see that the price pass through the upper trendline (15M), failed to breakout, comes back an tested from below 2 times, failed to breakout and bouced back few pips, 3rd time price passed through and BUM on the upside.
Made 50 pips with 1/3. Other 2/3 still open and free riding, nice target pivot R1 1.3725.

We have a minor double top in place @ 1.3750. A sustiained break above this number would target a retrace to 1.3900. I doubt this will happen, but it is possible. I myself will be shorting heavy @ 1.3740 (if we make it that high), stop @ 1.3775, TP1 @ 1.3600.

you assumption would be correct if people were buying USD to invest in US equities, but what is happening is the strength in US equities is directly effecting strength in Euro equities. People sell their US treasuries, and buy euros to invest in euro stocks. I think there is a real chance that your more practical assesment may become a reality as people seek to get abck into US equities globally in the near future - unless it is in fact the end of days

Massive global rate cut + Super good housing number = Dow +191? We may see another wicked sell off later today. I would not be long the Euro now unless you really know what you are doing (expert scalper).

Reinforcing a bottom in the housing market and a strengthening US economy... that is... if it's still around in a month or two.

1.3626 is the low price for the rest of the day with a possible re-test at 1.3605, but this is if we will range 1.3654/1.3735.
But be prepared to see wild moves for the rest of the day.
New lines are waiting for us to draw!!!
I always had a feeling that 1.3440 was the bottom for now!
After all this up moves only show us that at least for some days price will go up otherwise we already had seeing price to the downside!
