its amazing how strong correlated eurusd and gbpusd are. Notice also that eurusd is slightly earlier with the big moves, so you can maybe use this to know where gbpusd is going.

But GBP is stronger against the USD than the EUR, so I don't know how accurate your analysis is.

It's just kinda weird since they abolished the uptick rule, and remain against reinstating it, make me think the Saudi's are sticking it to us. The Bush family won't have a problem since they have been doing business with them for decades, I am sure their Swiss bank account is flush with cash.

How's that for conspiracy theory..lol

exactly, so a big move down of the eurusd could be followed by a much bigger move down of the gbpusd. Its just what i just saw, I agree with you that at times this is not accurate at all.

I have noticed one strange thing that I just can't understand. Does anyone know why EURUSD seems to correlate to DOW? That just makes no sense, the moves should be opposite.

I don't have stoxx view so I can't see how it correlates exactly to dow but I really don't think they move in tandem so that stoxx always moves the exact same moves but with multiplier. That is only way this would make sense.

Any ideas?

The idea is that a strong US equities indicates stable global environment and that is good for EURO

Stop trying to correlate the movement of this pair to any 1 thing. It is far to complex. Sometimes it follows the Dow, sometimes not. There are at least half a dozen powerful forces that all interact to determine direction.
