This puppy is still within a triangle and really hasn't decided where to go yet. It keeps ranging up a little at a time as stated by Monarchs post about 15 PIPS up per day.I really don't see it lower than 1.9490 today but we'll see.

Well another bear in the house.

Well the US 10 Year Treasury Note has been up for todays already.

Gold just waiting to go down. In fact it is now at USD676.

E/U doesnt look it will rally, hehe.

Also, USD/CHF has been going up higher recently.

We are still in the triangle and not yet breakout yet. I guess most traders yesterday thought we are going long big time but not yet.

Anyway we are back to the magical 1.9555 level

Yesterday we didnt touch 1.9444 or 1.9666 level.

So the game is still on. Bull VS Bear . See you.

Seriously, I'm shorting also. After the failed break of 1.96, I think we need to go down more first before the big bullish move.

I'm not totally familiar with Brazil, but I would think that it's more relaxing over there than in the States. I've traveled a number of times to Central America and love it there. If Brazil is anything like CA the women are beautiful there and I would never leave if I didn't have to. I would love to live there one day. Whenever I go there I sit in my hammock and drink away. Hope you have a better Fri adn then you can go .

Well, you should come sometime. Gonna love Brazil for sure... Well, all the problems that you find in the USA, except the war issue - our army is a usual peacekeeper like in East Timor and Tahiti.

I use to say that Brazil is the best place in the world to live if you are rich. All the fancy stuff a developed country can give + weather (mininum 5ºC 2 days in a year - average 25+ºC sunny days) + beautiful women + grate food, beach - ohhh the beaches....

I'm still far from "rich", but I have nothing to complain about

the 9xxx is just a joke around here, since Cable is stalling at those levels for some time. And henrycarol shorted targeting 9444 like DAYS ago and we never reached it yet. Don't bother with it. But take partial profit at those levels - just in case
Just touched 9583. No candle close above of this figure in the 1hr yesterday. So it is my clue.

Still awaiting this first EUR news to understand which way better.

mmmm. I love my early morning entries... I think its going to short after another attempt at 1.96
So if this thing follows this weeks pattern we'll see a spike up to retest 1.9600 and then it will open up SHORTS for the rest of the day!

By pattern, I am referring to Frankfurt open one way, London initially follows then reverses.

bearing in mind we have quite a lot of data to absorb at 9.30..

which could be holding everybody back right now..
us core cpi must also still be factored into the price and i think this will also strengthen the $, core cpi was better than expected and the market must adjust at some stage because it is a top indicator,

EUR and Yen are both in a clear USD bullish trend this week. Both of them, specially Euro, serves as good filter for the Cable madness.. When dust settles, Cable goes along with Euro.

I've seen reports that Euro might use the upcoming negative news (f/cast) for another assault at the 3080 area, where it fails y'day. I'll keep an eye on it...
