i kinda think you're right about sentiment cuz it's true, if stuff here in the US get really bad, unfortunately it will snowball badly
in fast moving markets, use a timeframe like 5M and count 3 bars back from the current candle. The highest point over the 3 candles - that is your stoploss, i.e. if price breaks the high of the previous 3 bars then your out Worked really well today & helps you lock in more profit! Check it out, as i said works well in fast moving markets

when it was going down during last hour I hedged it by euro shorting
as a by product I got +25 pps
