But looking back at your thread, from previous years happenings (examples), anything is indeed possible.

I have a high of the year at 112.09. Roughly 686 pips + extension needed.

Given the ADR of 135... I conclude that it's very possible.

So thats like a secret ? We had a gap up and the ranges HH was formed during the Asian session, so the MM was down for the 8th day of the month. But where did you put your SL? Can you post a screenshot pls

Possible broadening triangle on USD/CAD. Id like Mr Igrok take a look and tell me which drawing makes more sense compared those lines. First has 2 touches of the upper boarder and the order chart has 3 touches not including todays bar, but has a spyke in the middle.

Definitely a triangle so far.

What an interesting day today! There was (still is) another broadening triangle on the EJ. Possibly will turn into a diamond later on. I bought it today at the obvious 144.06 and just got out at 145.90. Very quick bastard.

No problem, my pleasure. I guess they are. I was observing JPY crosses during the Asian session while LL was in the building progress. Was thinking buying GBP/JPY and EUR/JPY with their MM up, but when i saw price still beying near the LL on the USD/JPY somehow i canceled my thoughts. Though that buy could have yielded a descent profit.

The weekly range on EJ looked excessive. Besides GJ was having a problem taking out the low of the previous month. Both also had some debts left on the other ends of todays ranges and even higher.

Yes, i havent taken previous months low in consideration with MMOD on GJ while i was planning my long trade. When you say about GJ's debts, are you talking about 1hr bullish divergence?

I never calculate those "average" ranges myself. By just watching the market every day it's always obvious when a range is "normal", "short" or "excesssive". "Short" is good for taking a new position, "normal" for pocketing some profits and "excessive" might be considered as an opportunity for a counter trade. A few pips here and there as a deviation from "average" don't change much.

I would like to understand how can we use the above leverage in our favor:

1. EJs main move of the day was up.
2. EJ Range this week was excessive.
3. Both EJ and GJ have gaps to be filled.
4. Broadening triangle observed.
5. GJ having a problem taking out MN LL.

I understood it like this:

The daily low on EJ was taken out during NY session and thus the main move changed. So the thought was to open a countertrade (long) at the next possible technical level( LTL of the triangle) and place SL below low of the day having all the above info. at hand?

Can you help me out here how to use this particular information leverage?
