In all seriousness ladies and gentlemen. I do not recommend holding a trade over the weekend. We've been having some major gaps and with the possibility of the US Govt's bailout plan coming to fruition, it could send this baby on a wild ride. At this point the 10sma and the 50 ema are holding the price hostage on the 4h chart. Remember there are setups everyday to be had if your patient enough to wait for them. Good luck trading everyone. I'll be online just not trading for the rest of the day.

i don't usually trade too much on Fridays, but for some reason i was very drawn to "today".

I always have some crazy idea.Watch this.
If read this daily chart good we have some reverse bearish divergance.SO we might test that low at 1.17450 area.That is just my thinking as 1 possible scenario.But we will see what will happend over weekend first.

As for weekend trading. i sometimes leave open trade.But only when expecting gaps like now.SO 1 min before my broker close i put order and small SL(arround 15 pips).In my opinion it is small risk and small price for bad trade.
Of course if i think it will go up i put long and oposit for down move.

This is little risky but i think i can risk 15 pips for that kind of trade.

P.S i did this 2 times and it works.SO now we will see.

Any opinions will dollar go stronger or not over weekend?

I would like to see a good break of the 4h 50 ema and a possible retest of it as resistance before I can commit to that area.

I think the $ is dependant upon this damn bailout plan. The markets might take it a good news for the dollar and provide $ strength again or it might look at like the US has fired up their printing presses and devalue the $.

Right now I wait and will watch this go flat for the rest of the day probably.

I'm off to lunch see everyone in about an hour.

i put up a post yesterday about the "low" down too. on tech only i think we should easily see a return to the lows back in the 7400 but who knows with the fundamentals that are coming this weekend.

I thought if it gaps against you your SL wont work.

depends on your broker but it should no mater what.
I know with FXCM it will

ultimately it's safer to leave your trades off the table over the weekend.

well if it works for TP it should work for SL as well.I think it is the same when you put SL and turn of computer.When i turn on comp if SL was hit my trade is finish in my account too.

As for up move from 4hr 50 ema possible.But on 4 hr we are still little overbought i think.And that 1.8600 area would be trong resistance.I willl see how did others players put orders over weekend for GBP.

USDCHF is in some triangle so which way he made break oposit is for GU.

I'm holding long since 1.8385 , for me looks like start now up abaut 60-70 pips. I hope .
Somebody can explaine me simply, how you guys know GAP is coming up or down. Tnx
