It was at 7 points at about 6am this morning.
I'm opening up with Oanda as i dont have enough cash to trade IG with proper money management

i didnt c it change only at sunday night at market opening and only for few pips ... but always the spread 3 pips , i trade with IGINDEX and IGMARKETS ..

Becarefull from oanda they change spreads on news check here :

spreadbetting is when you bet a set amount eg £1 on a pip movement in a direction so if you stake £5 at 1.7822 going long at the current price of 1.7862 you would have made £200 tax free in the uk if you closed it then

there is no messing with lot sizes or leverage. simpler this way
when market moves in the wrong direction then you pay the stake X pips from your account

cable in 1hr triangle now between the un-tested descending resistance T/Line and the twice tested ascending support T/line...earlier intraday resistance at current highs 7980 area the 61.8% [8130-7730]

Not today. It will break down, only if really good news comes out of USA.

I think the market anticipates the news, so it looks like the news is not too great for $. But who knows.

Anyone with IG please be carefull because they will close your trade at end of day 8pm GMT to realize any profit or loss, even if you have the rollover trade option on. In this cse they will realize your profit or loss and put you straight back in market. I stopped using them because I lost £1k this way. I have now changed firm.

I trade with IG as well and on there mini account you can trade as low as .1
of a mini lot = .01 of a lot. margin = $35.75. I would have thought that would be low enough for you. http://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon14.gif

No problem for me cuz i have enough funds to cover my losses so there is no diffrence if your looses are realised or not , infact i like to realise my profits so i can use them for margin deposit . I dont like Capitalspreads or any company doesnt realise my profits , so i have to close the trade and open again to release some cash and this will cost me additional spread
