Now is some strange time for the markets, pairs decorrelations, big volatility, so this is not so predictible market now. It should calm down, because now we're in the middle of hurricane.

Keep in mind that these gaps are closed up to 80% of the time.

That does not mean this one will... there's always that damn 20% but I like the odds.

I won't post any charts until there's something to post... but this pic expresses my current views pretty well.

It would appear to be going up. Unless it's really not. I think.

i cant set a stop on my mt4 trader with alpari uk.anyone with the same problems.the space for my stops is blank.anyone has a solution for me

I had many times the same problem with Alpari Uk , I call them and they play stupid , saying they don't see any problem , close the MT and open it and it should help.

i have done that several times and its still not loading.i want to set a trade and sleep and i cant do that without stops.means i have to stay awake till the problem rectifies

Did you understand I meant market overreaction?

I've seen a fib or two but none that new much about market psychology.

Apparently you and the fibs have something in common there.

Anyone trading the E/U gap? Also, I know this is the E/U room, but... is anyone trading the US/JPY gap? I am in both just checking to see if I am sailing on this ship alone.

I am expecting a retrace of the E/U to the 1.50.. level The E/U gap to the 1.38.. area was filled. Now it is time to go back up. U/J might fall to 104... level, but than expecting it to go up to 114...
On the other hand there is nothing to back the USD now. The reason that has strenghten so much is because all the hedge funds and banks and other types of companies are facing serious financial damages. So they pulled their money out of the other countries to save their asses back home. Now anyone can see who was boosting up the EUR so much.

Hey guys, just came on board got caught up in some stuff but found myself in the positive $500! Awesome. I put in a long right before market close on Friday. however, I am still holding onto my shorts (literally) Ha Ha but anyhow any idea about this going down in the next week to a more normal level so I don't have to take losses? Ideas, theories, thoughts, hypothesis are welcome. don't be shy, help me keep my money!

i am not a fundamentalist. i i have little experience in the stock market at the end of last year. i dont fully understand how it functions. i do know this though. there was an emergency session today..yes stock market on a sunday...it lasted 4 hours. the dow dropped big time. the person who made me aware of this is a big fundamentalist....he suggested tommorow could be a black monday....crazy right?
