also it hit the 38.2 at 1.7658ish

however, if it retraces back above 7700, i'll jump back in with a smaller position...

What a hoot - every friday there is a string of people posting and saying what great money they made and have a nice weekend and all that crap like they do it every week and they are so cool and skilled and they are off to buy a new sport car with their winnings or fly to the south of france in their lear jet

i did ok this week but thats all and i am not making much progress really

hope that is some consolation to people who live in the real world and dont need to fantasize

lets face - anyone who has this process down to an exact science would not be posting on here - they would be flying their helicopter or whatever so for most of these friday gloaters its a lucky streak

every friday we get these posts and its nauseating

yep iagree to an extent, why they come on and gloat after winning is beyond me?? dont hear many people (other than the old few) gloating about losses they have,

could well say is that winning makes u weak and losing makes u stronger..

sterling has been one way bet of late, but translating that into winning trades is not as easy as it seems, been off sterling afer my target was hit, concentrating on other stuff, been very whippy - timing of the essence,

i know what u mean..today thou....i was quite surprised it seems theres a good set of people in here who can trade and called the short at the right time...which is great, people are improving...if u made money welldone!! ...if u lost look at the reason and learn from them...

A well known trader said "only a idiot makes the same reoccurring mistakes and a smart cookie makes new ones" ......this is in my word offcourse, but i thought it was a great saying....

i myself never placed a trade the whole week and i saw the short signal on 15 minutes, but was to scared to press the flipping trigger...im getting the urge to exit my hedge at a loss, then there one part of me that says...why not ride it further down and look for a turning point, only problem with that is......it might be after christmas in 2 years time ..

I agree to an extent but I wouldn't say that successful traders don't post here. There are a lot of people who post here that try to convince us that they are 100% winning but we all know the truth....

I had a great week. And I had a great start to the month. And if you follow all the posts in Aug, Most people had a crappy month. Including me. Still trying to play catch up with my Aug losses.
Please eat a whole slab of choc. You obviously need the sugar high.

yep, everyone loses, is apart of this game! i win and lose on daily basis its unavoidable, occupation hazard, but the people who fufil their ego by winning and post their winnings will ultimatey get humbled by the market....

I'm not allowing myself to become dependent on income from here for at least another year. If I can progress without the pressure of taking funds out then I will consider myself a full time trader. At the moment I am still in a learning curve....

ok i'll tell the truth! I lost 110 pips on 3 trades. Losses is one of the trading attributes and you cannot trade without losses. The big issue is to control your losses and cut them when need it.

P.S. i am eur/usd short from 4507.. so im getting it back, and thinking to leave it through the weekend
