i hope this volatility would subside.i am still hanging in shorts.i hope that last bull wave did not take out your stops.i hope this pair comes back down soon.i am tired of this up down movements.trader801,acumen,jurassic,kasper,how are you guys holding out.

As I said, I think this is a bear market until there is some real evidence like couple of updays and price not going back to 1.4440.

I think it's just gaining momentum and will break it but I wouldn't short right now (I still however have one short that is in profit and I'm keeping it open)
you will have your answer soon. 1.4500 is currently the strong resistance, if it becomes the support...well you figure it out

shorter term, 1.4465 is termporary strong support..if broken...the bears mauled this taurus to death =/

Suntrader had an excellent post a few days ago about his swing points. You have to start right to end up right....

Bottom line for me is this fib has been up for some time now on my chart, and price missed the -79% by 3 pips. Works for me....

No I don't use that info at all except to estimate the current volatility.

All you missed was big bounce off long-term support, as predicted by one of our posters a bit earlier. Now working its way back down from 4500 to either 4440, 4435 or SOUTH.

oolides after my monster kill from margin, i am doing 4 cents a pip.. i feel so less stress now.. am rather happy LoL this is wierd

It's the long term support line at 4440. For me this looks that big players are trying to decide if that should be the bottom with order sizes that really move the market at the moment.

I'm short, a bit bigger than I should be. The longs from yesterday got to me. Will tp most around 430. I'm repeatedly reminded of how I should stick to trading 5m-15m charts and intraday trends and forget about this larger picture stuff alltogether. Waiting for days and more on positions is totally not for me, relative profit potential sucks, and just takes a lot more patience and nerves to trade.

Just don't forget that a bit of stress is still good. Otherwise you'll be tempted to jump in the market every minute.

Looking at price action we are going up atleast to 1.46..But it's very risky to trade against major trend...

I plot fibs all over the place and when I find the ones that work, I tend to stick with them. For me that's essentially daily hi'lo's when in a range, and swing hi/lo's on longer TF's always.

Only thing I don't do is try to fib price cycles that are uncompleted, in other words, altho the current session low has a very good chance of being todays daily low, it's not a closed period yet, and therefor not valid, at least for me anyway. Daily low would be yesterday at 5pm for me as that's when my new daily bar starts. Suntrader had an excellent post a few days ago about his swing points. You have to start right to end up right....

you mean 40 cents a pip.that also what i have been trading since 08 08 08.dont worry we would be back bigger and better

agreed....scalping especially is my favorite. longer term is irrelevant when trading in the moment. however...take a look at 4hour candlesticks...you say your short...how do you interpret that?

There was a H&S in formation about 1.5 H ago that I traded till 14495 TP (wasn't the most beautifull one 15M TF)
Now looks like it gets some kind of quiet, better shutting off.

It could also be that euro got nervous as we're nearing 1.43 and seems like oil should get closer to 100 before it really bounces up, so it's preparing for that last fall..

nope, sorry. I just remember that he explained how he does it, and I picked up a good tip. Maybe do a search, or pm him real nice to point you in the right direction..
