The techs better check their calendar then, because the 16th is a Saturday.

Some techs forecast Aug 16 as the freefall of the pound to 9400. Short-term rallies will create opportunies to sell although I don't see any events this week that may produce any such strong rallies. Too bad!

I will now give an update on GBPUSD
On my piture below we can see that at the intraday low we have formed a double bottom....as well as we are attempting to leave a small bearish channel (keep in mind its to vertical, that take away importance)
Also be aware of the candle forming , Its an inside candle if it mages to close like this withing the next 20 minutes...Last keep in mind the retracement short is below, and it is holding as major support from our daily chart since we only had a pierce on it on a daily chart, remeber it order for it to be a break it has to happen with a daily candle...
keep in mindI have no Bias but saying what I see from the price...if price begins to prove support I might consider taking a long against my intraday levels. Keep in mind anything against intraday levels is treated like a scalp....
