You'll be fine! There's usually lower volume in August that's all. I've had some great profits in August in the past.

It's all good to me too! I'll still trade the hell out of her! Unfortunately, I won't be able to trade during the 6th of Aug to the 13th. I'll be in Canada fishing and smoking spiffs, not too bad of a trade off.

yeah but you know, i dont trade manually i just let the system do all the work

i cant take vacations this month... i have to travel for work again...

This video says the market and these bankers expct the FED to raise rates by 75basis points by the end of the year (while ECB will be lowering, hence dollar strentgh yada yada)

I find it highly highly unlikely that the fed will raise rates, let alone by 75bp in the next 6 months. I do find it more likely that they are going to lower rates even more in the future (which is gonna do jack sh*t to improve bank solvency or spur more credit creation and boost demand, but they 're gonna go for it anyway - pushing the dollar even lower)

I expect these to happen towards end of the year, as the market realises its expectations where way over the top

I see GU falling harder than EU, elections should produce somewhat of a stronger dollar. I'm fundementally bearish on both but will trade the trendlines up and down with caution.

I don't think this will have a direct impact on the USD. Bank failing in Florida would have more of an impact. Calendar is full this week. I'd focus and trade around those numbers.
