this could be interesting if it breaks through this support. And it looks to be doing that.

On a fundamental level, it's dollar positive economic data.

On a technical level, the price of crude oil has dipped below it's 100-day SMAat $122, a critical level of support. The 200-day SMA is at the $110 level.

Today's strength in the dollar is not related to gold.

Yes I think like this too - I don't think 'oh it's going to 1.82 in a straight line'

Whatever the direction, I like to bet counter to recent huge movements

It's always better to do this when the huge movement is counter to the trend of course, but it's too tempting -- however, if the movement is counter trend, I like it to drop hugely TWICE as I have been caught out looking for the bounce after 1 drop

Anyway, just woken up with hay fever eye and cat scratches so i will fuel up on 2 more coffees before deciding, but my 3 overnight shorts cashed out great - of course we wish we didnt have t/p's on but lets not be greedy !

Can't wait for 1.96xx before going long - wish i could - it's all too volatile and i just bet contrary when it's like this - at the first sign of life - no the second

Exactly. Stick to the rules. Pointless changing TP's just coz you "think" the trend will continue. There needs to be a reason.

9800 is just sticky. If it can hold a break of it, could go much lower.
