i think holding the short is ok ..possible risk to upside is to around 2.0 level target 1.9840- 1.9820 area possibly, 1.9900..should hold as resistance.

We are on the bearish team since price broke the 61.8 as support though look at how price stairstepped up and found support also look as we closed making higher highs and higher lows. Unless we start braking lows or get some consolidation we might be crossing back to the bullish team...Thought will see what really happends next week when London opens..Last keep in mind we did not hit any intraday targets so we might open for another reversal....

a nice inside bar formed after the bounce from the TD we can see 2.0100 as 1st target next week

By the way next months retail figures will be harder to predict. May was a good month, June was a good month, July is turning out to be somewhere in between unless we have a huge turn round in the last week.
Forex is not an algebraic expression where 2 (bad months) - 1 good month = 1 bad month. It is not certain and not that predictable about any currencies. Several strategists are trying to come up with charts and figure to predict trends. That is alright but there are other variables as well. Basically, the supply and demand market drives every major changes in foreign exchange. There may be some market manipulations to scalp small profits but in the end supply and demand market will rule all.

id short from higher up to test the blue trendline..candles on dailly suggest a test of the line at the very least since last 2 days have been bearish kinda

if im not mistaken its a descending traingle.......looking like it gonna break to the downside...but this is just a guess really based on weekly and daily charts

There is indecision on the weekly chart. This could go either way but I am not too convinced on a long right now. I will wait for price action to show me the way and I think a break of the weekly inside bar either way should be telling....

....also notice that we have not closed a week above 2.000 in this recent run up....
