i was for a breif secongd in the green ....looks like that was the retracement for up...market is confusing me big time

Are you short nAVIN? if so, what's your price? I'm contemplating another short. Unfortunately, this would be a trade outside of my normal, but I want this damn thing to go down to 1.985x so load the longs.

What is best for cable - 0.5% on interest rates or GDP that is not accelerating downwards ? There is the rub

No confidence anywhere = dithering markets - where is the catalyst to make cable go to 2.04 ? Is it worth getting an extra 0.5%pa on your money if you risk a 15% devaluation ?

I predict continuing dither so continuing scalping in the range bound market for me
its been dithering for 2008 to be honest, preditable trading ranges, 2.04 does look onimous, perhaps rate hike like you say may provide the stimulus, would indicate that the british governement trying to show some sign of creditibilty by doing the right thing for once and encouring saving!

or are we just lagging behind the proverbial curve...
either case recession are natural part of the system that should be played out, preventing and avoiding a recession can have far worse consequences in long run, just look at fed rate rates - have they saved the US economy from recession ithink not! (although government intervention in the markets and business cycle in particular warrants a thread of its own to discuss!)

nice to see euro sterling finally sell off, good head and shoulder on 4hour chart ifany1 interested

talk of UK recession are way over done, consumers spending less??, just go try and fill up some petrol, buy some food, or even try going shopping at bluewater and you see the rush and queues!!

personally think that sell off in crude is very temporary, merely profit taking, consoldation then back up to new highs perhaps this year... $110 buy?!
